Ms. He Jinghui Mentally Disoriented from Torture

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Jinghui from Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, 65, is a retired accountant from the Qidong City State-owned Dairy Farm. She lives in Caichensan Village, Huilong Town, Qidong City.

Ms. He was arrested on March 4, 2008 and sentenced to five years imprisonment in November 2008, but released after eight months on medical parole.

She was detained by the Qidong City 610 Office, tortured while in custody and lost half her weight. Staff from the Qidong Police Department took her to a labor camp, which refused to accept her because of her poor health. They thought that she was on the verge of death and did not want to take responsibility for it. Therefore, the decision was made to return her to the detention center.

Ms. He lost consciousness on the way to the detention center. When the guards thought that she was on the verge of death, she was given medical parole.

When she regained consciousness, she could not remember anything and had become mentally disoriented. That was seven years ago. She is still alive but her mental condition has not improved.
