(Minghui.org) Like many other Falun Gong practitioners, I often go to public places to raise awareness of the persecution of my belief system. I tell passersby about all the pain that innocents have suffered under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) reign, and try to convince as many as I can to quit the Party and its youth organizations.
An organization as evil as the CCP will surely face justice, and when it does, I believe that innocent people should not go down with it.
I've noticed that recently, people are becoming happier about and more open to the prospect of quitting the Party. And more and more often, they also show deep appreciation for Dafa practitioners.
“I've quit! I'm finally safe!”
I came across an old man who was very eager to withdraw from the CCP. He became very excited after I told him that he was now free.
“I've done it! I've quit! I'm finally safe!” he cried. “I have been with the Party for fifty years, and now I'm finally free!”
It turned out that during his time in the Party, he had been a Party Secretary. Quitting not only secured him a good future, but also helped him come to terms with his past.
Another time, I spoke with an elderly woman at a bus station. She told me that she was a member of the Communist Youth League and that her husband was a Party member, but they both quit a while back.
“I am so tired of that Party! They've never done anything real for the people – it was all lip service, all of it. Today, I'm not afraid of telling you that yes, the CCP is bad!” she said.
Three college students were more than happy to withdraw from the Party and the Youth League. They also accepted copies of software that would let them bypass the Great Firewall.
One of the students said, “I don't want anything to do with the Party. I want to study abroad for grad school, and everyone else hates the Party!”
I was speaking to another person one time when a man passing by stopped to listen. After I was done, this man walked up to me.
“Yes, yes, yes! Everything you said is the truth!” he said. “We all know this Party too well.”
I told him that people are quitting the CCP on the Epoch Times' website.
“That's wonderful! I'll go and withdraw today!” he said.
“Falun Dafa is good! Master Li is the person I look up to the most!”
I talked to a couple of people sitting outside a supermarket once, and one of them, a middle-aged man, was quite receptive.
“Falun Dafa is good!” he said. “Master Li is the person I look up to the most!”
A while later, I told these people about how I have never had to see a doctor in the seventeen years since I started practicing Falun Gong. I also told them that I survived two major car accidents with no major injuries. The people were thoroughly impressed.
That gentleman from earlier began shouting, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is really good!”
The other day, I asked a young man if he's heard of quitting the CCP. He responded by raising his head up and saying, “Greetings, Master Li!”
I asked him how he knew about Falun Dafa.
“Oh, their volunteers are everywhere!” he said.
I chatted up a lady once who was very cautious about what I was saying, until I got to the part of the importance of withdrawing from the CCP.
“Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?” she asked.
I replied that I was, and I watched her attitude suddenly change.
“If everyone could follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, our society would be so peaceful! I think Falun Dafa is the greatest! I'm lucky to have run into you today. I'll quit the CCP–no, in fact I'll quit for my whole family! My dad, my husband, my sister, and my daughter! I'll tell all of them about quitting!” she said.
One day, a group of high school students I'd talked to earlier recognized me from across the street.
They yelled, “Falun Dafa, I love you!”
People are truly starting to wake up! It is just as Master has said in “Born Anew” (Hong Yin):
“As the Righteous Fa spreads,Untold fiends try to impede,Yet sentient beingsdo still gain salvation,And human notions change,The degenerate things purged,Brightness now shines forth.”
