(Minghui.org) I often go out hiking. I do so not because I enjoy the scenery, nor do I need it to exercise or to keep fit. I do it because it gives me an opportunity to make phone calls to people – to tell them something important that they need to know.
Because of the suppression of Falun Gong in China, very few people know what Falun Gong really is. Influenced by the defamatory media propaganda put out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), they have turned hostile towards this peaceful practice that improves mind and body, as well as its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
To help people understand the facts, I often make phone calls — both to everyday people and key perpetrators of the persecution — to tell them the real story of Falun Gong. By switching phone cards every now and then, and making phone calls in public places such as tourist sites, I can be effective without being arrested. So many fellow practitioners have been illegally arrested and detained for telling others about Falun Gong and the severe persecution.
When visiting touring sites and making phone calls, I often bring cards with me that explain the basic facts about Falun Gong. By putting them out for people to take, I have found another way to give people the information that they need.
Because the Communist Party will come to an end as a result of the terrible things it has done, especially in the persecution of Falun Gong, anyone who believes its hate propaganda and has sided with the suppression may go down with the Party. We have to help these people discern right from wrong.
On a beautiful spring day with the peach and plum trees in full blossom, I went to a tourist site as usual, making phone calls and hanging cards on trees with the words “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
At one point during my walk I encountered a group of tourists. I saw that one of them, a young man who was smiling and talking, was waving something in his hand. It was the one of the cards that I'd hung on a tree.
I was moved deep in my heart. Despite the hard work of making and printing the cards, and then the effort to put them out, I know that it was all worth it. At least they helped some people know the facts of Falun Gong.

As I continued walking, I noticed that none of the cards were there any more, and not even a single one was on the ground. I was very happy because I knew that they were now in the hands of people who needed them.
