(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhou Changxia, a Falun Gong practitioner from Pudong New District, Shanghai was illegally arrested on April 9, 2015 while talking to people about Falun Gong in the Shanghai Agriculture Wholesale Market. She was sent to Pudong New District Detention Center.
Ms. Zhou’s husband does not practice Falun Gong. He was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus in the autumn of 2014. He was separately examined by two doctors, one from Shanghai Cancer Hospital and Changhai Hospital. Both concluded that the cancer had spread to his entire body. The doctors agreed that it was too late for surgery and they recommended radiation and chemotherapy.
Ms. Zhou suggested her husband sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Ms. Zhou took her husband to both hospitals for a checkup a few days later. Amazingly, his cancer was gone.
For over six months, his health has been improving.
Ms. Zhou began to share her husband’s story with others so more people could benefit from Falun Dafa. Since the Shanghai city government installed surveillance cameras everywhere and have many plainclothes officers monitoring conversations on the street, they soon realized that Ms. Zhou was talking to people.
Ms. Zhou was sent to Pudong New District Detention Center after her arrest.
