(Minghui.org) Very few pedestrians were on the road when my grandnephew was riding his motorcycle on a bumpy village road one summer evening. Suddenly he came upon a a ditch, so he quickly turned his wheel to avoid it.
That was the wrong move, because a jeep ran into him. He was thrown to the ground, and the motorcycle landed on his legs. He couldn't pull his legs out from under it. The driver of the jeep saw what had happened, but he took off.
Since my grandnephew couldn't get up, he tried to get a hold of his family but wasn't able to reach anyone. Then he tried to stop passing cars and passersby, but no one wanted to get involved.
One of his cousins happened by and stopped to see what was going on. To her surprise, it was her cousin under the motorcycle. She got him into her car and took him to a renowned municipal orthopedic hospital. While she drove, she called my grandnephew's family.
Prognosis Uncertain
At the hospital the doctor told her that her cousin had lost a lot of blood, that he needed a blood transfusion, and that it was touch and go. The doctor asked for 30,000 yuan.
My grandnephew's family and neighbors arrived. The neighbors used their bank savings book as a deposit so my grandnephew could have an operation.
Then they were told that this payment was only for the emergency treatment and that they needed to pay another 40,000 yuan. The doctor also asked the family to go find the small pieces of bone from my grandnephew's leg that had been left at the collision site. Without them, the doctor could not operate.
Luckily, they found some of the pieces, but not all of them. After they signed the surgery agreement, the doctor told them he would try his best to save their son's leg. But he said he might be disabled because some pieces of the bones were missing.
This man had gotten married less than a year before, and his wife was newly pregnant. His mother cried and cried after learning that he might be disabled.

“Don't cry,” I told her. “What a coincidence that his cousin found him. Otherwise he might have laid there until the next day and died from loss of blood. Who arranged that?
“You found so many of those tiny pieces of broken bone on such a dark road, and they were all mostly intact. Who has been helping you all along?”
She quickly came to her senses. “Yes,” she said. “It was Teacher Li Hongzhi [the founder of Falun Dafa] who was helping us all along!”
“Your family has been supportive of Dafa,” I said. “You have done so much for Dafa, and all of you have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. That's why Teacher was helping you. Teacher saved your son.”
After the surgery, the doctor said that he had never done an operation that had gone so well.
After his stitches were removed, my grandnephew felt fine. Despite the swelling, he recovered quickly and soon no longer needed crutches. He went back to work shortly, and his wife gave birth to a handsome baby boy.
He had one more operation to remove the pins from his legs, which also went well. He showed his new x-rays to the first doctor. When the doctor saw how straight he stood and how well he walked, he was stunned. He could not believe that his patient had recovered so quickly. He carefully examined the x-rays and kept repeating that what he was seeing was impossible.
“Young man, you are so lucky,” said the doctor. “New bone grew to fill in the missing bone, and it's all fused together perfectly. No wonder you are doing so well.
“I have been a doctor for many years, but I have never come across anything like this. Please leave the x-rays with me, and I'll take a closer look.” We knew that modern medicine could not explain what he saw.
