Additional Persecution News from China – December 4, 2015 (Part I, 19 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 29 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Beijing] Professor Gao Zhenzong Detained

Mr. Gao Zhenzong, a professor at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was arrested by officers from the Dongcheng District Police Station on November 26, 2015, for having received Falun Gong information. Prior to this he had no exposure to Falun Gong. The officers ransacked his home. He was fined 150,000 yuan by his employer. He was detained for refusing to write a statement disavowing Falun Gong and Falun Gong's founder. He has endured serious physical and psychological abuse.

2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Mingying in Critical Condition

Ms. Liu Mingying was arrested by officers from the Wulong Police Station on the evening of November 8, 2015. She is in critical condition after being tortured in a detention center. Currently she is being treated in the Internal Medicine Section of the Qiqihar City No. 2 Affiliated Hospital.

3. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Du Shengxi and Wife Ms. Lian Dongmei Arrested

Mr. Du Shengxi and his wife Ms. Lian Dongmei were arrested at home by the police on the evening of November 30, 2015.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Zhaocheng and Ms. Su Min Arrested

Officers from the Doudian Town Police Station in the Fangshan District arrested Ms. Meng Zhaocheng on November 16, 2015. Ms. Meng was taken to the Fangshan District Detention Center.

Ms. Su Min was arrested and taken to the Fangshan District Detention Center on November 17, 2015. She was released that day due to poor health.

5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Qi Lijun and Ms. Wang Caixia Arrested

Ms. Qi Lijun and Ms. Wang Caixia were arrested on December 1, 2015. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Wang was taken to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center.

6. [Helong City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Muzhi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zheng Muzhi from the Bajiazi Forestry Bureau was arrested by officers from the Yanbian Area and Bajiazi Forestry Bureau Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the 610 Office on December 2, 2015. She was taken to the Forestry Bureau Hostel Brainwashing Center.

7. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yao Liwen Detained

Ms. Yao Liwen was arrested by officers from the Yitong County Police Department and the Xiwei Town Police Station on November 19, 2015. She is detained in the Yitong County Detention Center.

8. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Hu Weirong Taken into Police Custody

Mr. Hu Weirong from Yuping Township collected signatures from local residents on the afternoon of December 2, 2015, to rescue Mr. Yang Daowen from Wukou Town, who has been arrested. Mr. Hu was reported to the police and arrested by Li Qianlong, deputy head of the Pingjiang County Domestic Security Division, and others. He was taken to the Pingjiang Police Department.

9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Qi Lijun Arrested

Ms. Qi Lijun was arrested by officers from the Jiayuguan Police Station on December 1, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Caifen Arrested

Ms. Liu Caifen from Taocun Town was arrested on December 2, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, and a printer.

11. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pei Fengqin and Ms. Dong Sanni Arrested

Ms. Pei Fengqin was arrested and taken to the Sanli Police Station by plainclothes officers from the Taishan District Police Department on the morning of December 2, 2015. The officers questioned her about the lawsuit she filed against Jiang Zemin. She was released that day.

Ms. Dong Sanni from Yanxi Village in Wenkou Town was arrested at home by officers from the Wenkou Town Police Station in the Daiyue District and taken there. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Dafa books.

12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Wanyi Arrested

Ms. Li Wanyi from the Taojinkeng area in the Yuexiu District was arrested at home by officers from the Huale Street Police Station on November 27, 2015. Her home was ransacked.

13. [Qinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhao Qiufeng and Mr. Zhao Zhengwen Detained

Mr. Zhao Qiufeng and Mr. Zhao Zhengwen were arrested by political head Zhang Haijun and other officers from the Qinyang Domestic Security Division on December 1, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Both practitioners are detained in the Qinyang Detention Center.

14. [Pan County, Guizhou Province] Mr. Yang Jinduo Arrested

Mr. Yang Jinduo from Huopu Town was arrested by officers from the Huopu Town Police Station and Yang Jinping, a member of the Public Security Section in the Huopu Mine, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on November 28, 2015. The officers confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, printed materials, and about 200 yuan worth of paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them. Mr. Yang was released that day.

15. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Yingpu, Ms. Tan Hui, Ms. Lin Xiulian, Ms. Zhang Jinlan, and male practitioner Aquan were arrested by their respective local police stations on the morning of December 1, 2015, for filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. The five practitioners live in the Duanzhou District. Ms. Liu, Ms. Tan, and Ms. Lin were taken to the police stations. Ms. Lin was detained for 10 days.

16. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Changping and Ms. Sun Fengxia Arrested

Ms. Sun Changping from Lushuihe Town was arrested on November 17, 2015.

Ms. Sun Fengxia was arrested by Qin Jun and other officers from the Lushuihe Town Police Station on November 18, 2015. She was released that day for health reasons.

17. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Baoping Detained

Ms. Wang Baoping from Dakoutun Town in the Baodi District was arrested by officers from the Dakoutun Town Police Station on the morning of November 27, 2015. She is detained in the Baodi District Detention Center.

18. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Yuzhen and Son Mr. Yang Yang Detained

Ms. Chen Yuzhen and her son Mr. Yang Yang were arrested at home by officers from the Zhoukoudian Police Station in the Fangshan District on November 19, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Both practitioners are now in the Fangshan District Detention Center.

19. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Lihua and Mr. Li Zhichao Detained

Ms. Liu Lihua from the Jieli area in Ningyuan Town was arrested by officers from the Bin County Domestic Security Division and the Ningyuan Town Police Station on December 1, 2015.

On the same day, Mr. Li Zhichao, the principal of the Yongfengcun Elementary School, was arrested at work. He was handcuffed. Both practitioners were detained in the county detention center.
