Additional Persecution News from China – October 31, 2015 (19 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Sentenced

Four practitioners were recently sentenced by the Daxing District Court: Ms. Feng Yumei to a five-and-a-half-year prison term; Mr. Li Hongshan to a three-year prison term; Mr. Du Wenge to a four-year prison term, and Mr. Jiang Xiandong to a two-year prison term.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Meihua Sentenced

Ms. Xu Meihua, arrested on October 16, 2014, was later sentenced to an eight-year prison term by the Ganjingzi District Court. She was taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on October 27, 2015.

3. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuli Detained

Ms. Zhang Yuli was arrested on October 29, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at Rongcheng Detention Center.

4. [Longxi County, Gansu Province] Ms. Gao Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Gao Xiuying, 60, was arrested by officers from the Wenfeng Police Station on October 28, 2015, for suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. She was taken to the Longxi County Detention Center.

5. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Xue Yujun Detained

Mr. Xue Yujun was recently arrested at home by officers from the Tanbu Town Police Station. He is detained in Mengyin County.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shuang Detained

Ms. Wang Shuang was arrested at her workplace by officers including the director of the Wenguan Police Station in Dadong District on October 28, 2015. She is detained in the Bakeshu District of Shenyang City.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shurun Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shurun was arrested by officers from the Chunhai Police Station in Zhongshan District on October 29, 2015. The police confiscated printers, cell phones, and other personal items from Ms. Zhang.

8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Lifeng and Mr. Tan Shuyu Arrested

Mr. Wang Lifeng, in his 40s, was arrested on October 25, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to Shengcaipeixiao Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Tan Shuyu, in his 60s, was arrested and taken to the Binhai Detention Center on October 28, 2015. His home was ransacked.

9. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Mr. Mao Yixiang Detained

Mr. Mao Yixiang was arrested and taken to a detention center for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

10. [Hengshan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Meiying Detained

Ms. Wang Meiying was arrested at home by officers from the Hengshan County Police Station including Wang Shuguang, a deputy political commissioner, and Xiao Yingzhong, a 610 Office director, on October 22, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She is detained at the Baishazhou Detention Center in Hengyang City.

11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhong Fujiang Arrested

Mr. Zhong Fujiang was arrested at home by officers including Li Wenzhong from the Xingshugang Police Station on October 27, 2015.

12. [Xian County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and One Interrogated

Ms. Peng Yumin, Ms. Cai Guiping, and Ms. Yang Qiushun were arrested by officers from Leshou Town on October 26, 2015. The police ransacked their homes.

Ms. Liu Zhanqin was taken to a police department on October 27, 2015. She was released after being interrogated about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

13. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yang Wenzhi and Ms. Zhou Min were arrested by officers from the Mazu Town Police Station on October 15 and October 20, 2015, respectively. They were detained at the Shifang City Detention Center. Ms. Yang was detained for 5 days and Ms. Zhou for 15 days.

Ms. Luo Wencui and Ms. Hu Juhua were arrested by officers from the Jiandi Town Police Station on October 27, 2015. They were detained at the Shifang City Detention Center. Ms. Luo was detained for 10 days and Ms. Hu for 5 days.

14. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Qiuyan on Verge of Death

Ms. Wang Qiuyan has been forcibly interrogated by officers from the Liming Police Station in Jianhua District. She is currently detained at the Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center. She has had difficulty drinking and eating for the past seven or eight days, and been subjected to forced-feeding by officers of that detention center.

15. [Jiyuan City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Niu Arrested

Ms. Wang Niu was arrested at an industrial technical school by officers from the Zhicheng Town Police Station on October 30, 2015, for talking to students about the persecution of Falun Gong.

16. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Li Detained

Ms. Yuan Li was arrested by officers from the Zhangdian District Domestic Security Division and police station on October 28, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She is detained at the Zibo City Detention Center.

17. [Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Xie Yanling, Mr. Wang Dianfeng, Ms. Bian Limin, and Ms. Lan Guiqin were recently arrested. They were all detained at the Keerqin District Detention Center. Ms. Lan was detained for 15 days and the other three for five days.

18. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Guirong Arrested

Ms. Meng Guirong was arrested at home by officers from Xiwengzhuang Town in Miyun County on October 28, 2015. She was taken to the Chaoyang District Detention Center.

19. [Chongqing] Ms. Yang Huiru Arrested

Ms. Yang Huiru was arrested on October 29, 2015. Her home was ransacked.
