(Minghui.org) Several officials came to my home on August 10 to investigate my filing of criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong. They were three policemen from the city police bureau, one official from the town government and two officials from the village government.

I welcomed them in politely. They asked me outright, “Did you file complaints against Jiang Zemin?” I replied with full confidence, “That's right. I am suing Jiang Zemin.”

They asked me how many times I had filed complaints. I told them that I had submitted my complaint twice because I forgot to attach a copy of my ID the first time.

Then came a series of questions: “Why are you suing Jiang Zemin? Who asked you to do so? Who is organizing the filing of these complaints? Where did you copy your documents? Where did you mail out your filing documents?”

I said, “Jiang Zemin persecuted Falun Gong, committing terrible crimes. A new policy stated that the Supreme People's Court will guarantee the registration and processing of all criminal and civil complaints. Why shouldn't I sue him?”

Then I continued telling them how I had benefited from Falun Gong. “All my diseases went away after I began practicing Falun Gong. I am 64 years old, but can still work and not feel tired. However, Jiang Zemin banned such a great practice and persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.”

“We are doing this for your sake, too,” I explained. “Otherwise, you would continue participating in the persecution of Falun Gong, a grievous crime that you will one day regret.”

They asked me not to file any more criminal complaints against Jiang. I said, “I won't stop until he is brought to justice.” One policeman took notes and had me fingerprint the document. I didn't see a problem with this at the time since the notes were factual.

I have several pieces of calligraphy on the wall that read, “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good,” and “The Buddha-light Illuminates Everywhere and Rectifies All Abnormalities.” One of the policemen saw them and asked me whose calligraphy it was. I told them they were done by my brother-in-law. He said, “They are really nice. I will ask him to write the same characters for me one day.”

After they left, I thought of the fingerprint that they took from me and began to worry that they might use it to fabricate evidence.

The next day I went to the police bureau with another practitioner to find the policeman who took the notes. We talked to him about Falun Gong for the whole morning. He seemed to truly understand and support Falun Gong and sincerely thanked us as we left.
