My Taxi Was Wrecked, But I Wasn't Injured
I am a taxi driver. I always hang a Dafa amulet inside my taxi with the words “Falun Dafa is good” written on it. I want people to know that Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
The driver of a large heavy truck fell asleep at the wheel and hit me from behind early one morning in September 2013. My vehicle flipped over, was shunted about 30 meters on its side, and hit another vehicle. Both vehicles then slid another dozen meters before coming to a halt.
I was stunned as the truck driver pulled me out of my taxi. I wasn't injured, but my vehicle was a wreck. I believe that Dafa's teacher, Master Li Hongzhi, had protected me.
A Miraculous Recovery
In August 2015, a friend noticed that my mouth appeared crooked and I was having difficulty talking. I was taken to a hospital where they said I had had a stroke, a blockage in the blood vessels in the brain, which is a very serious condition.
My head felt heavy and I was sleepy the next day. I couldn't open my eyes but could hear my family call me.
My wife had practiced Falun Dafa for many years. She whispered in my ear: “You know that I have been healthy since I began to practice Dafa and have not taken any medication since. Recite sincerely in your heart 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in good.' Keep reciting these words and ask Master to help you.” I repeated these words often, and my wife did, too.
I was feeling much better after three days. I was more clear-headed and could open my eyes. I was soon able to get up and take a short walk with my wife. The doctors were amazed at how quickly I had recovered.
I have fully recovered and am driving my taxi again. I would like to thank Master again for saving my life!
