(Minghui.org) After finding out about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Dafa and about the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners of Falun Dafa, 840 Hebei Province residents decided to sign a petition against the practice of organ harvesting.
Many of them shared their stories with the practitioners collecting the signatures:
Petition Against Organ Harvesting with Signatures and Fingerprints
First Story
Ms. Wang Yuzhi, 85, led a life full of hardship. After the death of her husband (when she was 30 years old), she had a hard time raising her son and daughter on her own. She thought she could finally enjoy life when both of her children got married and had their own careers. Instead, greater misfortune occurred.
Her daughter-in-law died of liver cancer; then, her son died of lung cancer in 2013. Later her son-in-law suffered cerebral thrombosis and became paralyzed and bed-ridden. One misfortune after another left Ms. Wang feeling helpless. At the moment she felt she had no more tears to cry, a Falun Dafa practitioner told her to recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day.
When Ms. Wang learned about the petition against the organ harvesting, she told the practitioner collecting signatures: “I had my fair share of hardships in this life. Ever since I started reciting the words suggested to me, I have been in a good mood with harmony in my family. I support Falun Dafa and am against organ harvesting. I don't know how to write, but please sign the petition for me.”
Second Story
Another lady with the family name Wang had some illnesses a few years ago and took all kinds of medications in vain. As many Chinese do, she went to a fortune teller for advice. The fortune teller said, “I see you have been involved with Falun Dafa.”
Wang said, “You are right. My in-law practices Falun Dafa. In fact, it is interesting that I am not feeling as fatigued today as usual. It is Falun Dafa's Master looking after me.” Later, after this insight, she did not hesitate at all to sign the petition on behalf of her whole family.
Third Story
When a practitioner went back to her hometown for a gathering of family and friends, her younger brother and sister were happy to see her. They told this practitioner that their annual income had been over a hundred thousand yuan and that their kids were admitted to college.
The practitioner then started to talk about the petition. Before she could even finish, her brother gathered everyone together and said, “My family has been truly blessed in the past several years because we have been reciting 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' in everything we do.”
Because everyone had already seen the harmony and prosperity in the family, a dozen people signed the petition right away.
Fourth Story
A practitioner's sister-in-law came to visit her once in June 2014. Her sister-in-law had been suffering from some hepatic disease for years. It seemed that a lot of expenses and medications could only prevent her situation from deteriorating, but essentially without a cure.
She had not been able to work in the fields and even had difficulty cooking for her family. “If you truly believe in Falun Dafa, Master will look after you,” the practitioner told her. “You should recite 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' every day. Miracles can happen.”
“Actually I came to visit just for that. I wanted to ask for a Falun Dafa amulet. I have realized that only Falun Dafa can save people,” her sister-in-law said. “Your Master is great and benevolent.” The practitioner put the amulet on her sister-in-law and said, “Will you sign the petition to stop the organ harvesting?” Her sister-in-law signed on behalf of herself and her husband.
Several months seemed to pass by in a flash. The practitioner went to visit her sister-in-law after the busy autumn harvesting season. Her sister-in-law told her in excitement: “Falun Dafa is truly great! Since I started to wear the amulet and recite the words you suggested, I have been feeling light and energetic all over my body. I have not wasted a single day this fall and have been working like normal in the fields and around the house. Look at how well I am doing now. My illness is cured. My conscience tells me I owe my new life to Falun Dafa and its Master. It is my responsibility to tell my story to all my neighbors, family, and friends. I support Falun Dafa. I am against the harvesting of organs from Falun Dafa practitioners.”
