A Schoolteacher's New Life

(Minghui.org) I'm a primary school teacher who has been rated "exemplary" nearly every year for over ten years. I used to be very competitive at work. I also had an eye problem that made my eyes dry and painful, to the point that I could not read, write, watch TV, or grade papers.

I visited several of the top eye clinics, but the doctors could not figure out what was wrong. At the time, I lived in fear every day, worried that I would be blind at such a young age.

The school actually forced me to take sick leave after the 2011 summer vacation, as I could no longer teach the core subjects of language and mathematics. My husband and I had lost our parents, and there was no one to help us. My husband was involved in a car accident a few years prior and had steel rods in his legs. At that time, he could not do heavy labor, and, since our son was only two-and-a-half-years old, I was the sole wage earner.

Since there was so little income, my husband had to travel to Mongolia to work, while I stayed home and took care of our son. I fell into despair.

I met a lady one day when I was at the supermarket with my son. She told me about the persecution of Falun Gong. I was shocked when I realized that I didn't really know anything about Falun Gong, and that I'd been deceived by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies. The woman offered to help me withdraw from the CCP and its affiliations, and I agreed. She then gave me the book Zhuan Falun.

New Life

Falun Gong is really amazing! My eyes often hurt when I read, and I even had to ask my husband to read the text messages on the phone for me. But I didn't feel any pain after reading several pages of Zhuan Falun. I could watch TV and enjoy a Shen Yun performance for over two hours, which was unthinkable before. Even my stomach and gynecological problems, which had bothered me for many years, suddenly disappeared.

I felt the happiness of being healthy and illness free! I now feel so fortunate! Teacher has arranged everything for me. I'm now back teaching. I've also stopped being aggressive, and now let everything come naturally.

One practitioner said to me, “Falun Gong is my life.” I feel the same. Teacher has given me a new life. I must do well and follow the path arranged by Teacher.
