(Minghui.org) World Fest, the largest world cultural festival in the Louisville metropolitan area, was held over the Labor Day weekend in Louisville, Kentucky. Local Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the 4-day event, to introduce the beauty of Falun Dafa and also to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution and forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. More than 100,000 visitors took in this year's festivities.

Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an advanced cultivation practice of mind and body. It was first introduced to the public by Master Li Hongzhi in 1992 in China. Since then, millions of people in over 100 countries around the world have taken up the peaceful spiritual practice, which is based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
The Chinese communist regime launched a brutal persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999; it is still ongoing today. Under communist rule, forced organ harvesting has been used as an extreme measure to eradicate and profit from incarcerated Falun Gong practitioners. They are killed when their organs are harvested on demand for transplant surgeries, including overseas patients coming to China for “transplant tourism.”
At the festival, practitioners talked to visitor about the benefits of Falun Gong and of the 15-year brutal persecution in China.
World Fest visitors were very interested in learning about Falun Gong and many were concerned about the CCP's forced organ harvesting crimes. Many people signed a petition to show their support for bringing about an end to the persecution.
