(Minghui.org) Police officers burst into the home of Ms. Gao Cuilian, a disabled Falun Gong practitioner, and ransacked it on April 19, 2014. They arrested 14 practitioners who were at her home, but she was not arrested. When Ms. Gao asked them to stop arresting her friends, two officers twisted her left arm, fracturing it.

Ms. Gao's family went to report the incident to the local police station, the women's federation, the disabled federation, and the Yunnan News Agency. They even called the mayor of Kunming City, but were given the runaround. The police told them to take Ms. Gao to the hospital and wait to hear from them.

The doctor at the hospital told Ms. Gao that she needed an operation. Ms. Gao's family had to borrow 17,000 yuan ($2,740 USD) to pay the hospital costs. However, after five days of tests, she was told the operation couldn't proceed as the broken part was too close to her heart. Because Ms. Gao was also allergic to metal, the doctor couldn't use metal in the operation to fix it. In the end, the doctor gave the money back and released her from the hospital.

After Ms. Gao went home, she read Zhuan Falun and strove to do things according to the principles of Falun Gong and improve her moral character. A miracle took place a month later. Her fractured arm was restored to normal and she can now do her embroidery work again. The doctor, lawyer, and relatives were all very impressed by this.

Ms. Gao had suffered from muscle atrophy for years. After practicing Falun Gong, her condition improved and she can now do embroidery to support herself.
