(Minghui.org) A local car wash owner and Falun Gong practitioner was arrested by local police two months ago. Officer Feng Suo from the Liaohe Police Station didn't only attempt to encroach upon Mr. Chen's business, he also threatened to have Mr. Chen sentenced to life. The Shenyang Domestic Security Division attempted to charge Mr. Chen with involvement in terrorist organizations.

Mr. Chen Chao and his wife, Ms. Li Ying, opened a car wash business in 2013. Their business grew through hard work. With his arrest, the family has lost their financial support. His wife is now solely responsible for their two children, five and seven. Mr. Chen's 70-year-old father recently had surgery, and his elderly mother who is deaf also needs care.

It is common knowledge that the police will arrest the innocent if there is a reward, which is what occurred in Shenyang.

The arrest occurred on April 24. More than 10 plainclothes officers from the Liaohe Police Station broke into the Chengxin Auto Beauty Center on Xinjiang Street and took Mr. Chen and his wife, who were eating breakfast, back to their home and ransacked it.

The police took a computer, a cellphone, a broken black and white printer, two MP3 players, several books, and the family car, a Jetta. They showed no search warrant or other legal documentation.

The police took the couple to the Huanggu Police Department. Ms. Li Ying was released that evening.

The next morning Ms. Li took the entire family, including her in-laws, to the Huanggu Police Department. They waited until 2:00 p.m., but could not reach any relevant personnel. When she happened to look out the window, she saw her own Jetta leaving the premises.

She stopped the car. The driver said it was being driven to the Liaohe Police Station. She packed up the family in a taxi and went to the Liaohe Police Station. Officer Feng Suo, who was handling the case, intimidated them.

On the evening of May 30, Mr. Chen's father received a call from police to inform him that Mr. Chen's arrest was approved by the Procuratorate. On June 3, Ms. Li demanded that officer Feng show her the arrest warrant. He said officer Song Zhiming from the Domestic Security Division had it. Ms. Li went to the Huanggu Police Department, but Song refused to see her.

On June 4 officers from the Domestic Security Division of Shenyang Police Department called Mr. Chen's two brothers to the police station for interrogation. They threatened to charge Mr. Chen with involvement in a terrorist organization.

The frightened brothers pleaded with Ms. Li not to pursue her inquiries. She refused to be intimidated, and on June 5, she and her in-laws once again went to the Domestic Security Division, but the police refused to see them.

This attack on a good family is just one example of the government's attempt to suppress Falun Gong. Mr. Chen started to practice Falun Gong in July 2001. He learned to honor his parents and help them. He took care of his two younger brothers.

Mr. Chen often told his wife, “Life isn't easy for anyone. Helping others in difficult times can solve problems for them. It gives them courage to find a way out of their difficulties.” Everyone noticed that Mr. Chen became kind after practicing Falun Gong.

Officer Feng Suo from Liaohe Police Station is directly responsible for the persecution of Mr. Chen Chao. He deceived and threatened Mr. Chen's family not to hire a lawyer. He also attempted to take over Mr. Chen's business.

When he got calls from Falun Gong practitioners overseas, he threatened to have Mr. Chen sentenced to life imprisonment. Mr. Chen's family said they would report Feng Suo's illegal actions to his supervisors.
