(Minghui.org) Ms. Xiao Yongkang was not sentenced when her trial was over on May 21, 2014. Instead, she was taken back to the Baojing County Detention Center.

The judge said, “We won't sentence you here. We will do it in the detention center later.”

During the trial in the Huayuan County Court, plainclothes police were stationed both inside and outside the building. Staff members sat between every one of Ms. Xiao's relatives family in the courtroom to exert pressure on them.

The judge intended to convict Ms. Xiao using the Falun Gong materials found on her and the fact that she shared information about Falun Gong with people. The judge also tried to discredit Falun Gong using the staged Tiananmen self-immolation and tried to make her plead guilty. The judge also wanted to impose charges on her for advising people to quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

Ms. Xiao clearly answered each question and clarified the facts to everyone present.
