(Minghui.org) I'm a popular elementary school teacher in Malaysia. Besides helping my students become good persons I tell them the facts about Falun Dafa. Outside the school, I participate daily in making phone calls to China to clarify the truth and tell people about the goodness of Falun Dafa at tourist sites.
I obtained the Fa alongside my family in 1995 when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I didn't study the Fa diligently, therefore I stopped cultivating at the onset of the persecution. I didn't return to my cultivation path until 2008.
Students Receive Benefits for Believing That Falun Dafa is Good
My students, grade 1 to 6, know that Falun Dafa is good. They love to listen to stories about traditional culture and that good is rewarded with good while doing evil is met with retribution.
The children at my school hope that I am their teacher. I know that it is their knowing side that wants to listen to the facts about Falun Dafa.
One student said, “Teacher I fell yesterday, but I wasn't hurt. Do you know why?” I just looked at the student and waited for him to tell me, “It's because I had been reciting 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' yesterday.” Another student heard this and said, “I have also remembered these words. I even told some of my good friends and they believe that Falun Dafa is good.”
The principal has told my fellow teachers that I have my own way of doing things and she asked them to learn from me. I know that this is because I'm a Falun Dafa practitioner. When other teachers could not control the most mischievous boy, he became less naughty while in my class. He even said, “I told my little sister to remember that Falun Dafa is good.”
Making Phone Calls to China
I am a practitioner who had fallen behind and yet have experienced Master's compassionate care. My workload is light, which allows lots of time to do the three things Master asks of practitioners. This helped me to catch up quickly with other practitioners.
I have been making rescue phone calls for two years. During the first year, I made more phone calls but wasn't that diligent in cultivating myself. The second year, I was more diligent and elevated more in the Fa principles. I am truly grateful for being a member of the phone calling team and being able to share cultivation experiences with fellow practitioners.
While making phone calls, my selfishness is eliminated layer by layer, including a number of attachments, such as wanting fame and wealth, being self-absorbed, doing things sloppily, being forgetful, lacking a sense of responsibility, and being suspicious. I understand that cultivating has priority and only by cultivating away my human attachments can I save many sentient beings.
Although I'm not usually moved when faced with people who curse, I have raised my voice. I understand that it was not the person who cursed, because his knowing side was longing to listen to the truth.
Master said: “Then if someone like that is eliminated, think about it, not only is he eliminated—what's eliminated is also a gigantic cosmic body.” (Touring North America to Teach the Fa)
At one time, a person talked to someone else while I was talking and then hung up. I called back and said, “I hope you will not be like Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai who have become the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) victims. I have already told you the facts about Falun Dafa. It is up to you to listen. Falun Dafa practitioners make phone calls because we hope that you can leave a way out for yourself. We don't want you to receive retribution. Please choose carefully for yourself.” He stopped speaking and listened quietly for more than three minutes.
Talking About Falun Dafa Face-to-face
Malaysians' minds have been poisoned by the CCP. At the tourist site, the tour guide shouts loudly, “Do not take! Do not take!” when they want to take the Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials. Thus, the tourists would return the materials to me. At times when my attitude was bad, the tourists would even say nasty words.
I then realized that I shouldn't be moved when facing those that curse at me. To calm down, I went home and studied the Fa calmly and Master showed me layers of Fa principles, “As you know, when a person reaches the Arhat level, in his heart he is not concerned about anything. He does not care at all in his heart for any ordinary human matter, and he will always be smiling and in good spirits. No matter how much loss he suffers, he will still be smiling and in good spirits without any concern.” (Lecture Nine in Zhuan Falun) “...just by having your heart unaffected you will be able to handle all situations.” (“Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)” in Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Also, fellow practitioners said that these people and tour guides do not understand the truth about Falun Dafa. I needed to untie the knot that the sentient beings are stuck in. Only by doing so, can they be saved.
I went to the tourist site the next day and greeted the tour guide politely. A bus full of Chinese tourists refused to take the materials. I raised the display board. but they did not read it.
A tourist came over and said, “Stop raising the board. Nobody is looking at it. Go home early to rest. Are you Chinese?” I was not moved when I heard this. I put down the display board and said towards the bus, “I am Chinese but the CCP is not. The CCP has invaded China for more than 60 years. It can't represent our 5,000 years of Chinese civilization. This person ran quickly to the bus upon hearing this.
I then said to the tour guide, “I am very grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to stand here and clarify the truth to my countrymen because the network has been blocked off in China and they can't see the truth. The CCP did the Tiananmen Square self-immolation hoax and made the kind Chinese people hate the Buddha Fa. The people need to make a decision when faced with good and evil. Thus, we come here to clarify the truth. Heaven will give you good returns for your good deed today.” The tour guide nodded his head and the people in the bus had heard what I had just said. When I raised the display board again, they all came to look at it.
I keep reminding myself that I must hold the thought of being good to others from my heart when talking about Falun Dafa face-to-face. I must be compassionate. However, I still have to improve in respect to the above and will work harder at it.
