(Minghui.org) I had not been doing the morning exercises for quite some time. I sometimes made it up during the day, but sometimes I did not have time to do them for days, and I was concerned.
I am a veteran practitioner. I have been cultivating in Dafa since 2000 and am 34 years old. I run an information material center at home and am able to make the time to study the Fa, and usually go to bed after sending forth righteous thoughts at midnight, but I just could not get up in the morning.
When I discussed this with fellow practitioners, they mentioned that many fellow practitioners who were involved in the Minghui website had very little time to sleep, but they did the three things very well with only two to three hours of sleep daily.
I wondered why I could not do that. I believed it was because of my laziness. When my alarm sounded around 3:30 a.m., I thought I had some time before I had to get up at 3:50 a.m., so I went back to sleep, and most of the time I did not wake up at the time for sending forth righteous thoughts. Later, I set the alarm at 3:30 a.m. and 3:40 a.m., and also for 5:50 a.m as a back-up. My alarm clock got so upset with me, it quit working. I could not believe that I was so hopeless.
Several days ago, I attended an experience sharing meeting, and the diligent cultivation state of fellow practitioners greatly encouraged me. I recognized my shortcomings and gaps. When I returned, I reestablished our Fa study group and agreed to do the exercises in the morning.
Now when my alarm goes of at 3:30 a.m., I get up immediately. I cannot have fellow practitioners wait for me. Laziness is a big block on the path of cultivation. When we work together, we can easily pick up on it and eliminate it.
Follow practitioners, if you are behaving like I was, hurry up and rectify yourselves and join the morning exercises! We should not let Master worry about us.
