Qiaokou District Procuratorate Attempts to Frame Mr. Yang Lingfu

(Minghui.org) Mr. Yang Lingfu was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Wuhan City Police Department on September 24, 2013.

The Qiaokou District Procuratorate in Wuhan City has sent documents framing Mr. Yang to the Qiaokou Court.

Mr. Yang Lingfu is in his 50s and a resident of the Duoluokou Community in the Qiaokou District, Wuhan City. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) police arrested and detained him, claiming that he was printing Falun Dafa books, and called it an “important inter-provincial” case.

Mr. Yang Arrested and Home Ransacked

Eight officers from the domestic security division in Wuhan City Police Department and staff from the Duoluokou Community broke into Mr. Yang's home on the morning of September 24, 2013. The officers included deputy chief Cai Heng, team leader Wang Yan (female) and officer Jiang. They ransacked Mr. Yang's home, confiscated a laptop, inkjet and laser printers, DVD burner, paper cutter, cell phone and personal belongings.

The police said, “I know Falun Gong practitioners are good people, but some people set you up.”

Mr. Yang and his wife Ms. Sun Zerong were taken to the Qiaokou District Brainwashing Center. Ms. Sun was released due to high blood pressure. She left her home to escape being arrested again.

Mr. Yang was taken to the Wuhan City No. 2 Detention Center on September 27, 2013, but was not accepted due to high blood pressure. He was then taken to the Ankang Hospital of Wuhan City Police Department.

Mr. Yang was transferred to Wuhan City No. 2 Detention Center on December 11, 2013.

Officer Jiang of the domestic security division claimed, “The Wuhan City Police Department is no longer in charge of this case. It may take about a month for the prosecutor's office to process the case, and then transfer it to the court for a hearing.

Mr. Yang was transferred from Wuhan City No. 2 Detention Center to Qiaokou Detention Center on January 3, 2014. The documents that framed him were transferred to the Qiaokou District Procuratorate. The Procuratorate submitted the case to the Qiaokou court before the Chinese New Year without notifying his family.

Prior Arrests

During the 15 years of the CCP persecution, Mr. Yang and his wife have been repeatedly persecuted. Mr. Yang was held in brainwashing center. Ms. Sun was held in brainwashing centers twice. She was taken to the Qiaokou District Brainwashing Center in early 2003. Li Wei ordered over 20 people to torture her non-stop. The brainwashing center extorted 1,100 yuan from her.

Mrs. Sun was held in detention for 15 days for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in June 2013.
