(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lu Linxiu held a group Fa study that was attended by eight practitioners at her home on the morning of February 24, 2014.
Officers from the Gumei Police Station broke into her home and arrested all the practitioners. The police didn't present any identification and there was no legal reason for the arrest.
Besides Ms. Lu, the other practitioners were Ms. Xie Aiqun, Ms. Wang Ye, Ms. Zhang Jixiu, Ms. He Pinqin, Ms. Zhang Jinwei, Ms. Shi Cuiying, Ms. Li Yan and Ms. Shen Bilian.
Ms. Xie and Ms. Wang were released because of high blood pressure. Ms. Lu was taken to the Fengxian Detention Center for criminal internment. The other practitioners were taken to the Minhang Detention Center and sentenced to a 15 day detention.
Ms. Lu Linxiu in her 60s, benefited physically and mentally from practicing Falun Gong. She was in good health, and lived by the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and she clarified the truth about Falun Gong to people.
She had been arrested in 2001 and sentenced to two years at the Shanghai Forced Labor Camp where she was brainwashed and tortured.
