An older couple saw the Falun Gong exercise demonstration and said just watching the gentle exercises made them feel very relaxed.

A cameraman who took video footage of the exercise demonstration asked for more information on Falun Gong and where the nearest exercise site was.

Visitors inquired about Falun Gong.

One Chinese man told a practitioner that he had studied Buddhism and searched for the higher meaning of life for years. He spent about half an hour at the booth asking questions about Falun Gong and reading the book Zhuan Falun.

Many people who came to the booth already knew about Falun Gong and the persecution. One man said that he often drove by the Chinese Consulate and saw the Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protesting. He said he always honks his horn to show his support. He said he could sense the power behind the solemn and peaceful protest of the practitioners.

Mr. Lin, an older Chinese-Canadian, went directly to the booth and greeted the practitioners: “I have known you (Falun Gong) for a long time. You are good people.” He bought a copy of Zhuan Falun and asked to be notified of the next exercise teaching class.

A rehabilitation therapist from a local hospital learned about the healing power of Falun Gong and wanted to invite the practitioners to introduce Falun Gong at her workplace.

Besides dozens of exhibitors, there were seminars about Living Well, Women and Wellness, as well as healthy cooking demonstrations and fitness exercises workshops.
