Additional Persecution News from China – February 5, 2014 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 4 practitioners were illegally arrested.

 

1. [Usu City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Four Practitioners Face Illegal Hearing

6. [Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gong Xilian Detained

1. [Usu City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Four Practitioners Face Illegal Hearing

Mr. Yang Wanjun, Mr. Zhang Chengjun, Ms. Ma Chengying, and Ms. Zhang Huijun were arrested and taken to the Usu City Detention Center. Their families were not allowed to visit them. Even the lawyers their families hired were not allowed to meet with the practitioners. The four practitioners were scheduled to be tried on February 12, 2014.

2. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Five Practitioners Face Trial

Ms. Li Yafeng, Mr. Zhang Yanhui, Ms. Meng Qiaolian, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, and Ms. Lian Dongmei will soon be tried in the Jinshui District Court.

3. [Jinsha County, Guizhou Province] Three Practitioners Face Trial

Ms. Dai Qinyi, Ms. Liu Kaixiu, and Ms. Zhang Qinghui were arrested on November 16, 2013. The Jinsha County Court plans to put them on trial on February 20, 2014.

4. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Guo Libin and His Wife Ms. Chen Xitao Arrested

Mr. Guo Libin and his wife, Ms. Chen Xitao, were arrested by officers from the No. 3 Police Station on January 21, 2014. The police ransacked their home and took their computer, printer, Dafa books, and cash. The police also threatened their son.

5. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Falan Arrested

Ms. Liu Falan, in her 60s, is from Jilin City, Jilin Province. A few weeks ago she went to visit her relatives in Zibo City, Shandong Province. She was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong on January 27, 2014.

6. [Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gong Xilian Detained

Ms. Gong Xilian was arrested on January 28, 2014, and is now held in the Suifenhe City Detention Center.
