(Minghui.org) A Chinese tourist in his 50s chatted with a practitioner at a tourist site in Switzerland recently. The tourist was told about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and he was deeply touched and moved to tears. “I feel very bad for the situation in China,” he said. “You [practitioners] are mistreated so badly, but you still do this to help others.”

The practitioner replied, “Thank you for your understanding. We hope this situation won't last long. You know, many key players in the persecution, such as Xu Caihou and Zhou Yongkang, have been arrested recently. These people will be held accountable for their bad deeds.” The tourist said that back in China he often overcame the Internet blockade and was able to read news from outside China, “From that I learned that police beat practitioners in Tiananmen Square. If officers do this in public, I can imagine they abuse practitioners much worse during detention.”

“Plus, no practitioners fought back even when suffering so much! When I think about this, I feel that Falun Gong is indeed outstanding.” The man was in tears again. Several others standing nearby agreed with him, “Too bad that the suppression has lasted such a long time. The propaganda in China defames Falun Gong—yet many of us everyday citizens know that Falun Gong is good.”

The man was surprised to learn that the practitioner speaking to him was in his 70s. “I did not know you are about 20 years older than me. You look great. Today I saw you walking by and telling us tourists about facts of Falun Gong. I know that you are doing this for us.” He was in tears again. Turning towards another tourist next to him, he said, “The practitioners endured so much and are thinking about us. Without them, we might still have been fooled by the Party.”

One tourist said, “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is really bad—much worse than any other regimes in history.” Another one agreed, “Yes, it won't last long.”

The practitioner then explained to them that, when the CCP persecuted Falun Gong and turned itself against the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, it was pushing a large number of Chinese people into danger. “Since heaven may well put an end to the Party for its bad deeds, anyone associated with the regime will also sink with it. How about we separate ourselves from the CCP to ensure ourselves a better future?”

Every one in the group said yes. One man said a practitioner had already helped him with it. He smiled and said, “Falun Gong is great.”
