China Fahui | I'm a Little Falun Dafa Disciple
(Minghui.org) Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners.
I am a 14-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner in northeastern China. My mother went to Beijing to protest the persecution when she was five months pregnant with me.
I listened to Master's lectures when I was very little. I also memorized Master's poems in Hong Yin and learned songs composed by practitioners.
A woman came into Mother's store when I was six. I sang the song “Falun Dafa is Good.” She asked me what I was singing. I told her, “Falun Dafa is good!” It turned out that she was a prison guard. Mother clarified the truth to her and told her about the persecution and that Falun Gong was good, contrary to the lies the Party was spreading in all its propaganda.
The prison guard renounced her membership in the communist organizations after listening to mother's explanations.
My mother once helped a policeman's wife and son quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. But the policeman didn't agree. The couple came to our store again one day. Mother told me, “I've spoken to this policeman twice. He doesn't want to quit the CCP. He's yours.” I said, “Sure.”
I said to him, “Uncle, how much money do you make every month? You are such a nice person. You must have been dragged into joining the CCP because the CCP likes to fool good people and then use them to deceive others into believing that the CCP is good. The annual membership fee must be a lot.”
He smiled, “Right. Between 600 and 700 yuan a year!”
“Uncle, do you know how the Party has spent those fees? It has never told you, right? So many years. If you had used that money to buy apples for your son, they would pack this room, wouldn't they?”
“They sure would. I have paid a lot.”
“Uncle, the CCP doesn't take just your money; it also aims to take your life!”
“Think about it. We Chinese people say that there are deities three feet above our heads. If we make a wish and it comes true, but we don't do what we promised to in return, our bellies hurt. When you joined the Party, you had to vow to give your life to it.
“Now the Party slanders Falun Gong and targets innocent people. When the time comes for karmic retribution, you – a member of the Party – will be implicated. Won't that be taking your life?
“As long as you make a statement to quit the CCP and retract that vow, you will be spared, because you are no longer a member of the CCP. Uncle, do it soon!”
The policeman responded, “You are right. Well said. I'm quitting. I will quit the CCP now.”
A teacher asked me a question when I was in the first grade, “What does the book say?” I skimmed the book and saw it was full of CCP lies.
I didn't respond with the “correct” answer. Instead I said, “Teacher, we cannot love the CCP. It's not a good thing. It persecutes good people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and tells lies on TV.”
The teacher was shocked and speechless. She couldn't continue the class. The room was very quiet. After over 10 minutes, the bell rang. The class was over.
The school requires all elementary school students to wear the red scarf, the "uniform" worn by the Party's Young Pioneers. If we don't, we are not allowed to take lessons.
I told my mother, “I don't want to go to school anymore. I cannot wear the red scarf. I have to keep my life.”
Mother took me to school and asked my homeroom teacher, “Isn't joining the Young Pioneers voluntary? Why are you forcing children to join? We practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and don't take part in any Party organizations or projects.”
My mother offered to speak to the director and the principal if the teacher thought that she couldn't decide. The teacher said, “Nobody should interfere with freedom of belief.” My mother and I thanked her.
She announced to the entire class that I could be exempt from the requirement and wouldn't lose points if I didn't wear the red scarf.
The teacher wrote the following comments about me when I graduated from elementary school: “A kind little girl, smart and insightful.” I knew that she really liked me.
When I was in the seventh grade, our politics textbook slandered Falun Gong. I sent forth righteous thoughts for a long time. Several minutes before the class was over, the teacher started to reiterate the lies about Falun Gong in the textbook.
I immediately stood up, stopped him, and clarified the truth of Falun Gong to the entire class. I said, “What's written in the textbook are lies. Good people are being persecuted.”
One classmate asked, “How can our textbook be wrong?”
I explained, “The CCP is not good. It has condoned killing since the beginning, with campaigns to harm the innocent, the Cultural Revolution, killing students on Tiananmen Square, and now Falun Gong.”
She screamed, “Please stop! That's enough!”
She came to me to learn more several days later. I answered her questions one by one. She said in the end, “I'm not against Falun Gong anymore.”
Afterwards, a tall quiet girl in my class said to me, “I'll tell you something. My grandma also practices Falun Gong.” I was much encouraged and happy.
The school held a writing contest. My classmates recommended me as one of the two representatives from our class. I saw the title of the contest: “Writing Contest to Celebrate National Day.” National Day is the day that the CCP seized power in China.
I thought, “I'm a decent Falun Dafa practitioner. How can I write something that promotes the CCP? No, I won't do it. The title of the contest should be changed!” I sent forth righteous thoughts.
A teacher ran into the classroom soon after and said, “Wrong! Wrong! The contest title was wrong. It's not about celebrating National Day. The title is changed to 'Citywide Writing Contest.'”
I smiled – now that sounded right.
High school admission exams are a big deal for Chinese students. If their grades are not good enough, their parents might have to pay a lot of money to send them to good schools.
Our biology and geography grades were going to be rolled into the high school admission exams proportionately. A grade of 100 would be converted into a 40. My teacher told me, “This is crucial. Sometimes parents have to pay over 10,000 yuan if your grades fall one point short.”
The night before the exams, my mother heard voices discussing my grades. They said that I would get 100 in both biology and geography.
It was raining cats and dogs the morning of the exams. My mother went to the door of our store and said, “Heaven, please stop the rain in five minutes, okay? I have to ride an electric bicycle to take my little angel to the exams. We cannot be late.”
I went out two minutes later and pointed at the sky: “In the name of heaven, stop the rain right now.” The rain stopped.
Mother and I smiled at each other. She locked the store, and we left. We arrived at the school early for the exams.
The results came out two weeks later. I indeed got a 100 in both biology and geography. I was the only one in the entire class who did. We learned that among over 4,000 students, only 40 made two 100s. I was one of them.
I'm grateful to Master for bestowing upon me the wisdom to perform so well academically without much effort. Many relatives and friends know that I practice Falun Gong, and they admire me.
My mother and I have made this clear to them: I am as smart as I am because I practice Falun Gong. I obtained my wisdom from practicing Falun Gong.
Thank you, Master!
