Additional Persecution News from China – October 11, 2014 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Tonghui, Mr. Liu Tongshu, Ms. Chen Ailing, Ms. Sun Guirong, Ms. Qian Shenghua, and Mr. Chen Shoushan were arrested by officers from the Zibo City 610 Office, the Boshan District 610 Office, the Jingjikaifa District 610 Office, and the Jiaozhuang Police Station. Their homes were also ransacked. Mr. Liu Tonghui's copier and Ms. Chen's computer and two copiers were confiscated. All six practitioners were transferred to the Zhangdian Detention Center on October 9, 2014.

2. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Lihua Detained

Ms. Chen Lihua was arrested by officers from the Maojian District Court on September 22, 2014. She is being held at the Xiajiadian No. 1 Detention Center.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Dong Detained

Ms. Dong was arrested by officers from the Jinnan Police Station on October 8, 2014. She is being held at the Jinnan Detention Center.

4. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Qiang Arrested

Mr. Li Qiang was arrested by officers from the local police department and the Domestic Security Division on October 5, 2014. His Falun Gong books and informational materials were confiscated.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiao Aixiu Arrested

Ms. Xiao Aixiu was arrested on the evening of September 28, 2014, while hanging up banners with "Falun Dafa is Good" written on them. The next day, she was taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center by officers from the Shuiguohu Police Station.

6. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners and Their Family Members Arrested

Officers from the Tonghua City Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the 610 Office, the Dongchang District Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and the Dongchang Police Department arrested around three dozen practitioners and their relatives on September 2, 2014.

Most of the people who were arrested have been released, except for Ms. Li Xiuying, Ms. Zhang Shuhua, and Ms. Zhu Yaxian, who are being held at the Changliu Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Xiaona, Ms. Zhu Yaping, Ms. Ding Lina, Ms. Yin Guichun, Ms. Zhao Lihua, Mr. Du Guolin, Ms. Qin Xiuli, Ms. Zhao Guihua, and Mr. Xu Hongjun are being held at a brainwashing center.
