Plainclothes officers from the Qingdao City 610 Office, Shinan Police Department, and local police station stormed into Ms. Kong Lingru's home on the morning of September 3, 2014. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books. She jumped from the third floor to escape and fled her home to avoid further persecution.

Ms. Chen Jinxiang was arrested by officers from the Tianzhu County Domestic Security Division on September 12, 2014. She is being held at the Wuwei City Detention Center.
