(Minghui.org) About six police officers stormed into the store of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Dong Ming on May 10, 2013. Without showing any documents, they dragged Mr. Dong across the street and pushed him into a van. His store remained open unattended.
The police took Mr. Dong to the Wusheng County Brainwashing Center in Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, where they tortured him until he was on the brink of death.
Mr. Dong is from Dingping Town, Linshui County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. His family didn't know of his whereabouts for two days.
Brutally Force-Fed
After his arrest, Mr. Dong went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The head of the brainwashing center, Jiang Bo, went to Mr. Dong's cell with five other guards. They brought a steel plier and some food. Then they shut the door and closed the curtains.
They forced Mr. Dong to sit on a chair and cuffed his hands behind it. Two men held his legs down, and one held his head back. Another man pinched Mr. Dong's nose so he could not breathe. When Mr. Dong opened his mouth to gasp for breath, they inserted the plier into his mouth and forced the food down his throat.
To prevent Mr. Dong from throwing up, they covered his mouth and nose with a wet towel to force him to swallow.
The force-feeding was repeated several times. Mr. Dong suffered extreme pain, bleeding and suffocation each time he was force-fed. His teeth were loosened and his wrists were covered with bruises and wounds from the torture.
The process of force-feeding was so brutal that Mr. Dong's cell mates left the room to avoid witnessing it.
Mr. Dong was force-fed four times. His condition deteriorated after each torture. He became emaciated and was on the brink of death. When Mr. Dong refused Jiang Bo's order to eat, Jiang kicked him, disregarding that he was barely breathing.
The authorities at the brainwashing center did not want to be liable for Mr. Dong's deteriorating condition. Therefore, they asked Linshui County agents to pick him up and take him home. Before releasing Mr. Dong, they had the police from Linshui County Domestic Security Division search his home and his store. The police confiscated his Falun Gong books, a computer, and other personal belongings.
Mr. Dong collapsed upon his return home when he found most of his belongings gone. Despite his critical condition, officers from the Linshui County Domestic Security Division still repeatedly went to his home and business to harass him and his family. The family suffered tremendous stress and financial loss.
