(Minghui.org) I have helped Master save sentient beings for fifteen years during the Fa-rectification period. I've endured many tribulations and hardships during the course of my cultivation, but I have always felt Master's great compassion and protection. The persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which began fourteen years ago, has never altered my belief in Master and the Fa and my firm righteous thoughts.
Master said,
“The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.” (Zhuan Falun)
I've matured in the Buddha-light and the Buddha-light has spurred me to cultivate more diligently. I've written down some of my personal cultivation stories with the hope that more people with predestined relationships can experience the beauty of Dafa.
Relatives Experienced the Miracle of Dafa and Began Practicing
I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. My health improved dramatically and my relatives witnessed the miraculous changes. My older sister told our relatives, “I don't have to look elsewhere. I've observed the changes in my sister. She was riddled with disease before. She had suffered from pancreatitis, migraines, dermatosis, blurred vision, ringing ears, muscular atrophy and pain in her legs, and constant stomach pain. She became healthy after practicing Falun Dafa. She can do any kind of work now. Falun Dafa is good.”
The improvement in my health had a positive effect on those around me. Everyone thought I looked younger. The doctor, who used to treat me and gave me injections said, “Dafa is miraculous!” Dafa gave me a wonderful life. Several relatives started practicing after seeing how much I had benefited.
I'm a Good Daughter-in-law
My father-in-law, 90 plus years old, tells everyone he meets, “My daughter-in-law is very kindhearted and respectful to me. If there is a little something good to eat, she gives it to me. She is more respectful than my own daughter.” My husband treated me with respect after seeing how I cared for his father.
My husband was locked up in prison after helping victims of injustice. All the burden in the family fell on my shoulders. One day my neighbor said, “Your husband is away and it's hard on you. You should drive your father-in-law out.” My husband's eldest sister said, “Let's take him to my older brother's home. If he isn't willing to go, we can throw his luggage out on the street.”
I thought, “I practice Falun Dafa. I must do things according to Master's requirements. I need to treat everyone well, particularly my relatives.” I take good care of my father-in-law and am very considerate of him. Even though my husband hasn't been home for the past 8 years, I've worked hard, endured my father-in-law's complaints and showed him respect. Sometimes he beat me and loudly cursed at me, yet I forgave him. I know how upset he is about his son and sometimes his thinking is confused.
Father-in-law Attacked Me with a Knife
I remember one time my father-in-law suddenly came at me with a kitchen knife and pressed it against my neck. He said, “I'm going to kill you.” I said, “If you want to kill me then go ahead.” His voice faded away and he put the knife down. I thought afterwards, “I practice Falun Dafa. If I didn't practice this Fa, I wouldn't be able to handle him. Dafa has really changed me.” My neighbors checked on me from time to time and said that I was amazing.
All My In-Laws Know that I'm a Respectful Daughter-in-law
I attentively took care of my father-in-law when he became ill. He called me to his deathbed, held my hand and said, “Let me take a good look at you. I'm sorry for how I've treated you.” When his relatives arrived to grieve his loss, they shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” I'm a respectful daughter-in-law in the family's eyes.
Taking Benefits Lightly
The town I live in elects cadres every three years. Some of the village cadres want to keep their current positions, and secretly give people money to buy their support. One day a neighbor brought over the wife of a cadre. I understood the reason for their visit after chatting with them for a while. I told her, “Remember that Falun Dafa is good and don't persecute Falun Dafa. You will then have a glorious future.” She accepted what I said and told me that she knows that Falun Dafa is good. She asked my neighbor to give me an envelope with 50 yuan in it after she left. I didn't accept the money and asked my neighbor to return it. I said, “Practitioners don't take other people's things. We are always considerate of others. As long as he supports Dafa then I will vote for him. You don't need to give me any money.” My neighbor treated me with greater respect after that. She realized that Dafa practitioners are good people.
Master Protects Me in a Threatening Situation
One time I went to a village with two other practitioners to distribute the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other truth clarification materials. I continuously sent forth righteous thoughts on our way there. I thought, “I am Master's disciple. I'm honoring my mission to save sentient beings. No one has the right to persecute practitioners. Let more sentient beings be saved. May every flyer that we distribute, serve its function and save sentient beings.” When we were almost finished distributing information, one of the other practitioners said, “Let's each distribute what is left on our way back to our respective homes.” With Master's protection, I successfully finished distributing what I had and got home safely.
One of the practitioner's husband came to my home with his son, looking for his wife at dawn the next day. This is how I found out that she had been arrested. After they left a few cadres showed up and said, “So and so were distributing materials last night and were taken to the police station. They've already been taken somewhere else. Don't go anywhere.” I said, “I'm not going anywhere. Whatever you do, don't persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners are good people. You will have good fortune if you protect Dafa.” They told me over and over again not to go anywhere as they left. I then understood the reason why they visited me. I knew that it was Master's great compassion that protected me. I was in a threatening situation, but no harm came to me.
Dafa's Great Compassion Saves Sentient Beings
I ran into an elderly woman at the market one day. I told her that Heaven will weed out people, and that there are natural and man-made calamities now, because mankind's morality has declined. The local government is corrupt. The CCP caused the deaths of 80 million people in China in its various campaigns. They are now persecuting Falun Dafa. If man doesn't punish the CCP, heaven will. If the people who've joined the CCP or its affiliated organizations fail to withdraw their membership, they will be weeded out when the CCP collapses.
She quickly agreed to withdraw from the CCP after she understood the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution. She joyfully said, “I've met a good person. You are so kindhearted! Please come to my home. I want to make you a pair of shoes.” I gave her informational materials including DVD with news programs and also Shen Yun Performing Arts. She happily accepted them and thanked me. I was so happy for her.
I need to clarify the truth more, distribute more Shen Yun DVDs and cultivate myself better, at this final phase of Fa-rectification. I need to help more people install New Tang Dynasty Television satellites so they can watch the programs and be saved. I need to righteously follow the cultivation path that Master has arranged for me.
