Additional Persecution News from China – December 4, 2013 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 13 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 practitioners were illegally arrested .

1. [Duyun, Guizhou Province] Ms. Shen Mingyan Sent to Brainwashing Center
2. [Linyi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Shimin Sentenced to Six Years of Imprisonment
3. [Hengren County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Deqing Put on Trial and Suffers a Stroke

7. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained
8. [Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Ji Shujun Detained

1. [Duyun, Guizhou Province] Ms. Shen Mingyan Sent to Brainwashing Center

When Ms. Shen Mingyan was shopping for groceries at the market on December 5, 2013, she was arrested by agents from the Duyun City 610 Office and taken to Lannigou Brainwashing Center.

2. [Linyi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Shimin Sentenced to Six Years of Imprisonment

Ms. Wang Shimin was illegally sentenced to six years of imprisonment and was sent to Jinzhong Prison, Shanxi Province, on September 17, 2013.

Ms. Wang was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and detained at Jinzhong Prison in 2004.

3. [Hengren County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Deqing Put on Trial and Suffers a Stroke

Mr. Wang Deqing was put on trial on December 2, 2013. He lost consciousness during the trial and was taken to Hengren County Hospital. The doctor said Mr. Wang had had a stroke.

4. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Mr. Li Yang (Ms. Li Fangfang's brother) was arrested on November 14, 2013. He was released on November 30. Mr. Tong Yuhai's wife (a non-practitioner) was detained for 15 days and released on December 2. Mr. Tong Yuhai, Mr. He Gang, Ms. Li Fangfang, and Mr. Feng Baoxiang are still being detained.

5. [Zibo, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Linghe and Mr. Li Taishan Arrested

When Mr. Li Linghe and Mr. Li Taishan from the Linzi District were distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on December 2, 2013, at a market, they were arrested by officers from Zhaokou Police Station, Linzi 610 Office, and Linzi Domestic Security Division.

6. [Liaoyuan, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Xiangzhuo Detained

When Ms. Liu Xiangzhuo distributed informational brochures about Falun Gong in Dongfeng County on December 1, 2013, she was arrested and taken to the county police department. She was transferred to the Liaoyuan Detention Center.

7. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yu Fengzhen, Ms. Sui Guofeng, and Ms. Zhang Qiling from Caojiagangzi Village, Binhe Township, were arrested by officers from Diaojia Police Station in Dehui at noon on November 30, 2013. They are now in the Dehui Detention Center.

8. [Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Ji Shujun Detained

Ms. Ji Shujun was detained in Shahe Street Police Station for clarifying the truth on December 2, 2013.

9. [Urumqi, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region] Mr. Xu Yannian and Ms. Wang Hui Sentenced

Mr. Xu Yannian and Ms. Wang Hui were sentenced by Shayibake District authorities. Mr. Xu was sentenced to five years of imprisonment and Ms. Wang to four years. Both of them are being held in the Urumqi Detention Center.

10. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Ms. Song Shue Detained

Ms. Song Shue was arrested by Railroad Station Police Station police at Huaihua station on the evening of November 20, 2013. She is being held in the Railroad Police Division's detention center.
