(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Yue was illegally arrested at his workplace around 8 a.m. on August 13, 2013. Boli County 610 Office head Zhao Pengfei, He Wei and six other officers, in collusion with officials from the Boli County Education Department and Boli County No. 7 High School, forcibly took him into custody and then transferred him to the Hegang Brainwashing Center.
Mr. Wang, 51, was a teacher at the Boli County No. 7 High School. He taught 12th-grade mathematics and was known to treat his students with care and attention.
Many teachers did not give students all of the necessary information in class, but held additional sessions after school to make money off students. Mr. Wang never did that; he worked hard to pass on his knowledge to his students in class and was thus well-liked by the students. To express their appreciation, some graduates sent him a special plaque that said, “The grace from you is unforgettable.”
After the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong, however, this excellent and beloved teacher was dismissed from his teaching position.
In 2007, due to the pressure from their supervisors, school officials transferred him to work as a meal-card cashier. Mr. Wang did not complain. He worked conscientiously and did his job well.
Moreover, he saved the school over 1,900 yuan. Each year, many high school seniors leave 5 to 10 yuan on their meal cards upon graduation, never coming back to get the money. Instead of putting the money into his pocket, Mr. Wang submitted it to Zhang Fengchun, director of the Logistics Office. Zhang was quite moved and said: “No other cashier has ever done this before. You have saved the school so much money, but you ask for nothing.”
Although Mr. Wang helped the school to this extent, school head Shi Fansheng terminated his position as a cashier and transferred him to work in the mailroom on August 9, 2013.
Shortly thereafter, on the first day of the new semester, Zhao Pengfei and other officers broke into his workplace and forcibly took him into custody.
Mr. Wang's family was not informed of his whereabouts following the arrest. Shi Fansheng only told them that he had been sent to a brainwashing center in another city.
It wasn't until August 30 that his family finally learned that Mr. Wang was incarcerated in the Hegang Brainwashing Center.
