(Minghui.org) The intermediate court in Luliang City in Shanxi Province refused to hear the case against Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qiao Jianjun and returned it to Wenshui County Court due to lack of evidence and unclear facts.
Mr. Qiao Jianjun has been detained for a year. The head of the adjudication supervision division, Guo, in Wenshui County, is now handling the case.
Mr. Qiao, in his 30s, is from Shandong Province. He was arrested at 2:00 pm on July 15, 2012, when he was distributing Shen Yun DVDs in Wenshui County. He has been illegally detained in the County Detention Center ever since. His car was taken by County police. He has been in taken to court to be tried three times now, but the case has yet to be heard.
Mr. Qiao is an outstanding young man who has a successful career and has a happy family. When he was arrested, his son was not yet born. Now he is 6 months old yet Mr. Qiao has not yet laid eyes on him. His hometown is far away in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Under such enormous pressure, his wife has broken down a few times and his mother has lost much weight worrying about her son.
Zhang Yongqiang, head of Wenshui County Domestic Security Division, was in charge of arresting Mr. Qiao.
