(Minghui.org) I enlightened to a deeper meaning on some thoughts regarding the word “validation,” which are often mentioned among fellow practitioners. I would like to share my understanding with everyone. Fellow practitioners, please point out anything inappropriate.
The Fa-rectification path of the universe is a new path. It is the new life of the old cosmos. It is the path that will allow us to fulfill our vows and save all beings. It is also the path which our revered Master created for all beings. During this time, what should we do? How should we eliminate the interference from the old forces? What are we leaving for the future beings? What must we do? Many, many meanings are contained in the word “validation.”
Everything is given to us by Master, including what we cannot see and what we can observe, such as physical improvements and mental clarity. During the course of the universe's history, we followed Master and descended level by level. Master protected us so that we could come to this world. We followed Master to establish the divine culture of humankind. Master has made complete and thorough arrangements for those beings that we are going to have predestined relationships with, so that we can save them. Because of the old forces' attempts to destroy us, we can feel, but not truly understand, the level of harm that Master has borne for us.
Master brings the predestined people to us, waiting for us to save them, giving us hints. When we hesitate and even feel hopeless, Master gives us warmth, belief, enlightenment, and encouragement in ways that we can best accept. To those who take detours, Master scoops them up from hell and gives them a chance for a new life. Words cannot express our gratitude to Master. Standing before the great Buddha's grace, as disciples in the Fa-rectification period, what should we do?
We should be worthy of the sacred meaning of “validation” – in our pure thinking, our practice, our words, and our actions. What are we proving? We are proving the standard of the realm that we are qualified for in the universe. We prove that we are beings worthy of being alive during the Fa-rectification. We prove that we came to save all beings. Aren't we proving our worthiness? Which level of Fa resonates with everything that you have done and every thought that you have? Have you met the standard of the Fa?
Facing those predestined people who were arranged to come to us, we must get rid of the attachment to showing off. Otherwise, we might arouse the person's attachment. He then might not accept the truth or think that Dafa is good. And then we cannot save him. Our actions and heart would have then fallen short of the Fa standard needed to reach out to that person.
Sometimes we need to get rid of the attachment of resentment. If we don't, such unkindness might push the person away. He might refuse our help and even refuse other practitioners' help.
Sometimes we need to get rid of the attachment of zealotry. Extreme behavior disturbs people's thinking. They think you are “sick,” and Dafa's image might be damaged. We all know that we cannot save people if we don't meet the standard. Sometimes, even those beings who cannot be saved were arranged by Master to approach us in order to help us remove our attachments and improve through tribulations. Then as the Fa-rectification proceeds, we will be able to save more beings. The arrangement is very complete and thorough. We cannot begin to imagine all the possibilities behind it. Our presentation at any time in Fa-rectification has the ability to connect the unlimited dimensions in the immense universe. It is related to countless beings in the cosmos.
I am one of those disciples who took a very big detour. Sometimes I was very sad because I lost the clear path that was laid out for me. At present, I must be more diligent and add righteous thoughts to meet the requirements of each new level. Disciples' every pure thought and action have the meaning of the Fa imbedded in it, which is intrinsically related to future possibilities. It also includes the requirement of our realm, which is established in every dimension.
In terms of practice, what was practice like in the past? In history, a part of our life validated, or resonated, at the level that was appropriate with the practice that existed then. They built the foundation of the culture for today's humankind and left wisdom, examples, and lessons to save people. However, that “validation” is not same as our “validation” today. The great practice path of disciples in Fa-rectification today is cultivating our true selves, which was not the case in the past.
Those disciples who have been doing very well and have strong righteous thoughts leave examples for the future. Those who take detours can still do well from the beginning and have a chance to come back in the Fa-rectification. When Dafa disciples encounter tribulations, they can utilize their abilities to destroy demons and negate the evil.
We do not cut ourselves off from the world. We can still cultivate in society with a family and a job. Even when we are close to consummation, we will still do the most normal things as ordinary people. All of this was created by Master, who requires us to practice and leave a path for future beings. It is also the requirement of the new universe. How can we not do well? If we don't do well, how can we truly understand the meanings behind the Fa? We can only validate the Fa with our concrete actions arising from pure thoughts, and thus play our roles in Fa-rectification.
After I enlightened to this, I did not talk about “validation” so casually anymore. It is not what I understood in the past. I wish for every fellow practitioner to walk well the last phase, becoming worthy of our path and validating the Fa.
