(Minghui.org) Every time I go to a salon to get my hair cut or permed is an opportunity to explain the facts about Falun Gong to people. In less than two hours, I can get my hair done and help people understand the truth about Falun Gong. This also conforms to normal society.

A Family Salon

Several years ago, a small beauty salon opened in our neighborhood. The owner was a single mom, and she had a son and daughter. I always went there to have my hair done, because it was convenient and affordable.

A perm usually takes two hours. The daughter washed my hair, and the mother trimmed it and gave me a perm. We soon became friends and I began to clarify the truth to them. They listened, understood, and resigned from the Chinese Communist Party and its youth organizations.

Once when I went to get a perm, I saw the owner's son cooking. I said, "You work so hard but still help your mother cook!" He said, "I wish things were easier for Mom." He told me that his father went elsewhere for work but he had an affair with another woman and abandoned them. Fortunately the boy was dutiful and started helping his mother by doing odd jobs and housework from the time he was very young.

Such a good boy! I clarified the truth to him and helped him quit the Party's youth organizations. The son said, "I come home only once every few months. I want to hear more!" After the perm, I went straight home and brought back the Shen Yun DVD. He immediately played it at the shop.

The following Chinese New Year, the mother and her children went back to their hometown to celebrate. When they didn't come back, I had to go to another salon to have my hair done.

I Misjudge a Salon Owner

The salon owner was a man, and he permed his own hair to be curly. Because of his appearance, I was wary of him, believing he was uneducated and would have no interest in listening to the facts about Falun Gong.

After I went there twice, I learned he used to be a teacher, but had to quit and open a salon because his salary was always delayed and reduced. He permed his hair that way to cater to his customers, because most of them were odd job laborers and favored that style. I began to clarify the truth to him.

He said, "I've even quit my job, not to mention the Chinese Communist Party. You are right, the CCP is totally corrupt. In our township, they always hold back the teachers' salaries for months and use the money for themselves. The higher officials are even worse. I'll quit the CCP with my real name! This country would be doomed if not for Falun Dafa. I'll also tell my wife and child to quit the Youth League and Young Pioneers and believe in Falun Dafa."

I asked him if he wanted to see Shen Yun Performing Arts, a world class show promoting Chinese traditional culture. He said, "Yes! Nowadays there are no good shows on TV, only violence and affairs between men and women. I would like to watch programs that promote traditional culture."

I brought him the DVD after work the next day. Later, when the new Shen Yun DVD was released, I went there and gave one to him. He said, "I've missed you! Long time no see!"

The Salon in My New Neighborhood

After I moved, the salon in my new neighborhood had a girl in charge of hair washing and a stylist. The first time I went there, the hair-washing girl I met was from Sichuan Province. I asked her if the earthquake in Wenchuan was far from her home. She said, "Not far." I told her that they could avoid those disasters if they believed in Falun Dafa. She said she could accept it because her grandmother believed in Buddhism. I told her that Falun Dafa is higher than Buddhism. I also told her not to believe in the CCP anymore, because they were trying to destroy our traditional beliefs.

The hairstylist told me that I was his last customer, because his father had intestinal cancer and he was going home to take care of him. I immediately clarified the truth to him and brought him a Shen Yun DVD after the perm. I told him that some cancer patients had recovered after watching the show and to play the DVD for his father. He said he was so lucky and would definitely remember "Falun Dafa is good, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" and would repeat those words with his father every day.

Getting My Hair Done on a Business Trip

One Saturday on a business trip, I planned to find people to clarify the truth to. It was raining, and I thought there wouldn't be many people in the salon, so it would be convenient to clarify the truth there in a quiet environment. When I got there, however, it was packed. Maybe they were taking shelter from the rain by getting their hair cut.

The owner of the shop gave me a perm himself. In our conversation I discovered he was from Shandong Province and had great identification with traditional values. I thought he was a person with a predestined relationship and I should clarify the truth to him.

Right when I had that idea, everyone else in the shop left. I clarified the truth to him and helped him withdraw from the Party. When I paid, he said sincerely, "Please come often because you bring us blessings."

Visiting High-end Salons

One time I went to do something with my boss' wife. She was happy because everything we did that day went very well. She then offered to treat me to a haircut. We went to a hair lounge. It was very high-end and there was a special person in charge of every procedure of the hair cut and perm. I clarified the truth to each of them and helped them quit the Party. At the end my boss' wife asked me, "What did you say to them? I noticed you had a great talk with everyone!" I said, "I was telling them the facts about Falun Gong." Then she joked that I should never forget my "true profession."

Before my daughter's wedding, I made an exception and spent nearly 300 yuan for a perm. It was a high-end hair salon, and just like last time, I clarified the truth to each person and helped all of them withdraw from the Party.

Every time I go to have my hair cut or permed is an opportunity to save people. In less than two hours, I get my hair done and can save people. This also conforms with ordinary human society. In my daily life, I believe all the people I meet are the ones whom I should save. This is my true “profession.”
