(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Yu Fen and Ms. Yao Aizhen, both from Chenxi County, Hunan Province, were recently arrested and detained in a brainwashing center in Huaihua City.

The center's cover name is "Legal System Education Base" and is under the direct supervision of the 610 Office. Falun Gong practitioners held in the facility are pressured to denounce their faith.

Details about the Center

Since the day it opened, Huaihua City Brainwashing Center has detained a large number of practitioners from areas such as Huaihua, Jishou, and Zhangjiajie. Slander and deception, as well as threats of violence, torture, extortion, and other tactics are commonly used in an attempt to force them to denounce their faith in Dafa.

Some practitioners detained in this center have been tortured to death, some died after being injected with unknown drugs, and some were tortured to mental collapse.

Center officials begin by setting their targets and drafting a list of names of practitioners. These practitioners are then arrested and detained. Involved in the persecution of Ms. Yu and Ms. Yao Aizhen are the 610 Office, police department, as well as some of their former colleagues and undercover police informants who help gather and provide information about Falun Gong practitioners.

Ms. Yu Fen

In July 2013, a car sped into the courtyard of Chufeng Machinery Plant in Chenxi County. Several county 610 Office and Qiaotou Township government employees jumped out of the car and ran inside the employee cafeteria where Ms. Yu worked. They arrested her, pushed her into their vehicle, and drove her directly to Huaihua Brainwashing Center.

In her 30s, Ms. Yu was unemployed with an elementary school aged daughter. To help support her family, she began working in the cafeteria at Chufeng Machinery Plant.

In the brainwashing center, 610 Office agents forced her to watch DVDs that slandered Dafa. To try to make her write the three statements, they brought her aunt to come to talk to her. They threatened her that if she did not write the statements, they wouldn't let her go home. Ms. Yu was detained there for over a week.

Ms. Yao Aichen

On July 31, 2013, the county 610 Office gathered over two dozen accomplices at the Traffic Construction Quality and Safety Supervision Station residential building. They arrested Ms. Yao Aichen, who lives on the fourth floor. After turning her apartment upside down, they took her computer, portraits of Falun Gong's founder, and all of her Dafa books. Then they locked her up in Huaihua City Brainwashing Center. Her three-year-old granddaughter, whom she was babysitting, witnessed the whole thing.

In the brainwashing center, the 610 Office agents made Ms. Yao watch DVDs that slandered Dafa and warned that if she did not write the three statements, they would not let her go home. Ms. Yao was detained for 21 days. Deceived and pressured by their lies, Ms. Yao’s second daughter, Yao Lingyan, helped the center persecute her mother.

Tan Xi'er is married to Ms. Yao’s oldest daughter (some have said that they are now divorced). Tan works for the county 610 Office and is the prime instigator behind the persecution of his mother-in-law, Ms. Yao.

Ms. Yao teaches her grandchild, Tan Cheng, the daughter of Tan Xi'er and Ms. Yao’s oldest daughter, to be kind. She hopes that her teenage granddaughter remains a good person even though society’s moral standards are rapidly deteriorating. Ms. Yao also teaches Tan Cheng to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person. After he found out that Ms. Yao had been teaching his daughter to follow these principles, Tan Xi'er made her watch DVDs that slander Dafa.
