(Minghui.org) Under orders from the Duchang 610 Office, the Duchang Court in Jiangxi Province planned to try Ms. Hu Huoying, a woman in her sixties, on the morning of December 7, 2012. Ms. Hu's family and relatives had asked a Beijing attorney to defend her, and plea “not guilty.”

Ms. Hu was born in 1951 and worked in the Duchang County Shipyard. On a summer day in the 1980s, Ms. Hu's two sons, ages 14 or 15 at the time, went to swim near the port, and both drowned. This was a tremendous blow to Ms. Hu and her husband, who felt their world had come to an end. Ms. Hu had been sterilized previous to this, and it had adversely affected her health. She suffered from shock after the death of her sons and often went to the hospital for emergency treatment. She spent large sums of money on her health but it did not improve.

Ms. Hu was very fortunate to learn Falun Dafa in 1997, and she was purified both physically and mentally. There was a huge change on her outlook on life, and her health improved significantly. Ms. Hu was now relieved of her mental suffering and all of her illnesses disappeared. She knew how to cultivate xinxing and be a good person.

After the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, Ms. Hu went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. On July 3, 2000, using her personal experience, she told people how practicing Falun Gong restored her health and peace of mind. She wanted to convey to the government that the persecution was very wrong.

After that day, 610 Office agents often went to her home to harass and threaten her. She was detained many times. During the past 13 years, Ms. Hu has been arrested, detained, and sent to a forced labor camp five times. She was once sentenced to four and a half years in prison and severely tortured physically and mentally. On the night of April 8, 2005, Shao Jidong, instructor of the Domestic Security Division; Fang Changgen; policewoman Hou; and others took Ms. Hu away from her home. After being detained in the Duchang Detention Center for one month, she was sent to the Jiujiang Forced Labor Camp for one year.

Her husband was sick in bed at the time, and unable to take care of himself. Her neighbors and colleagues collected 78 signatures on a guarantee letter to permit her to go home and take care of her husband. However, Chen Zhengchu, director of the 610 Office at the time, firmly refused and threatened other kindhearted people. Ms. Hu's husband, Wang Huashan, witnessed the evil outrages for many years, and he lived in terror for a long time. As a result, he suffered dementia and could not bear the harassment and constant threats. He was then no longer able to take care of himself. When Ms. Hu was detained, no one was available to care for him, so he spent a lot of time sick in bed and even developed bedsores. He died in July 2007 at the age of 60, after much physical and mental suffering.

Just a week after Ms. Hu's husband passed away, Zhang Shixin, chief of the Domestic Security Division at that time, along with Fang Changgen, Wu Youlong, and other police officers, went to her home and tried to take her away. Many people surrounded them. One of Ms. Hu's neighbors spoke up on Ms. Hu's behalf, saying that they were being heartless to take her away when her husband had just passed away, and that she was in extreme grief. After this public rage, the police left empty-handed.

Ms. Hu was surrounded by eight policemen on the morning of February 29, 2008, who were waiting for her to leave her home. They were led by Zhang Shixin, Fang Changgen, Wu Youlong, and Chao Guoguo. Ms. Hu was sentenced to four and a half years in prison. She was detained in the Jiangxi Women's Prison for more than three years. In prison, three collaborators were assigned to follow her at all times, and she was forced to do slave labor for more than ten hours per day. Her hands ached and often felt paralyzed. and her vision was poor. The prison doctor diagnosed her with glaucoma, but the guards nonetheless forced her to work, otherwise her term would be extended.

Ms. Hu was released in July 2011. Over the past year, she often told people the truth about Falun Gong, how wonderful Falun Dafa is, and about the persecution she suffered in prison and forced labor camp. Ms. Hu was arrested again on the morning of August 4, 2012, while she was grocery shopping. Tan Xinmin, Chen Weiping, and other officers ransacked her home at noon and took away a laptop computer and printer, approximately 100 Falun Gong DVDs, Falun Gong brochures, a satellite receiver, and other belongings. The police also tried to take the LCD TV from Ms. Hu's home and Ms. Hu's daughter's laptop computer, but failed.

Ms. Hu Huoying has been detained in the Duchang Detention Center for more than four months. The local public security department is fabricating evidence and intends to sentence her again.
