(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Xiaodong was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2006, and has been incarcerated in the Seventh Prison District of Gongzhuling Prison ever since his arrest. The prison authorities once claimed that they would release him in August 2012; however, they later changed the date to December 28, 2012. As the revised release date approaches, the authorities now claim that his release date is “uncertain.”

Mr. Wang, in his 30s, used to suffer from severe illnesses and he had a serious kidney ailment. His family is poor and he could not afford medical treatment. However, when Mr. Wang started practicing Falun Gong in 1998, his illnesses soon disappeared. His older brother Mr. Wang Xiaohu and their mother Ms. Wang Guilan started to practice as well. Their family life became happy and fulfilled.

Mr. Wang's family members have been subjected to brutal persecution ever since the communist regime began the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. Ms. Wang said, “I had nothing because of the persecution. My only treasure are my two sons.” However, both of her two sons have been incarcerated for a long period of time.

Mr. Wang Xiaodong was arrested in March 2006. Yu Jinji from the Huadian Domestic Security Division tortured him using various methods such as force-feeding him gasoline, encasing his head with a device that would then vibrate violently, and tying him to a tiger bench. His ribs were also broken as a result of the numerous beatings. He was later sentenced to seven years in Gongzhuling Prison.

Mr. Wang Xiaohu was arrested by Yu Jinji and others in June 2002. He was tortured at the Huadian Police Department, where he was severely beaten, shocked with electric batons, tied to a tiger bench, hung up by his handcuffs, and he was tied down with his limbs stretched and tied to the four corners of the bed. He was sentenced to seven years in Jilin Prison, and was released in 2009.

Mr. Wang Xiaohu was arrested again on April 23, 2010 and was sentenced to three years in prison. He was initially taken to the Gongzhuling Prison, but the prison authorities refused to admit him after he failed a physical examination. However, officials at the Huadian 610 Office refused to release him and instead used contacts within Jilin Prison to accept him there. Mr. Wang Xiaohu is being held in the 11th prison district and has developed tuberculosis as a result of the persecution.

Ms. Wang, 69, has been forced to find odd jobs in order to make a living. She has had to travel back and forth between the two prisons for many years to visit her sons.

We hope that Mr. Wang Xiaodong will be released on the stated date. [Note: This was written and published in Chinese on Minghui.org before December 28, 2012. ]
