(Minghui.org) On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful protests opposing the persecution in China, many United States Members of Congress sent letters to express their support for Falun Gong practitioners’ tireless efforts against the persecution. United States Senator Ron Johnson recently wrote the following letter to support Falun Gong practitioners' "fight for a free and peaceful future," calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in China.

To Practitioners at the Falun Gong Rally:
Thirteen years ago, the Chinese Communist Party began an intensive, comprehensive, and unforgiving campaign to outlaw your spiritual movement and suppress your beliefs. However, you have remained strong and united against this effort and I applaud your continued determination and perseverance.
Today, I join you in calling for an end to the persecution of the Falun Gong in China and support your fight for a free and peaceful future. I also join you in celebrating the Chinese citizens who are taking a principled stand by rejecting the violence and inequity of Communist Party rule.
