Six Falun Gong Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center by Bajiazi Forestry Bureau of Jilin Province

(Minghui.org) Li Fu, Director of Bajiazi Forestry Bureau in Long County, Jilin Province, has arrested many Falun Gong practitioners in his area every year, and sent them to brainwashing sessions.

On May 5, 2012, Ms. Sun Qingju, a kindergarten teacher of the Bajiazi Forestry Bureau, and elderly Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu were taken from their home by police officers from the National Security Division of Bajiazi Forestry Bureau Public Security Bureau, led by team leader Zhao Zhikui and instructor Wang Jiahui. Ms. Sun Qingju was severely tortured by staff of the brainwashing center because she would not give up her faith in Falun Gong. Her arm was broken and her head was swollen from the abuse; people who know her well can not recognize her. Ms. Sun is being held in Baihe Detention Center.

Every time one Falun Gong practitioner at the Bajiazi Forestry Bureau is sent to the brainwashing sessions, Bajiazi Forestry Bureau provides 8,000 yuan to the brainwashing center. The staff of the brainwashing center who monitor the Falun Gong practitioners earn a salary. Four dishes and one bowl of soup per meal are provided to them. This is very attractive to those who are unemployed. In the spring of 2012, director Li Fu recruited a group of unemployed people to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They are trained in Long City on how to participate in abusing Falun Gong practitioners. They receive 800 yuan monthly. The Bajiazi Forestry Bureau spends a lot of money annually to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
