Solemn Declaration

Since I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2000, I have been illegally arrested and taken to forced labor camps twice. During the detention periods, I was subjected to evil and brutal persecution, such as long-term sleep deprivation, long-term standing and being hung up. Due to a lack of righteous thoughts and a strong attachment to fear, I unwillingly wrote the three statements. I also compromised with the evil, causing a threat of arrest to fellow practitioners. I solemnly declare: “Anything I have done that is not in accordance with Dafa principles is null and void. I will cleanse my stains and strictly uphold myself on my cultivation path. I'll do the three things well to make up for the damages I caused to Dafa.”

Solemn Declaration

I started practicing Falun Dafa in January 1998. Since Jiang Zemin's regime started persecuting Falun Dafa in 1999, I have been illegally arrested 7 times. I was detained in forced labor camps, brainwashing centers, and detention centers over 9 of the past 13 years. In December 2009, I was arrested when posting Falun Dafa informational materials. Several days later, I was sent to a forced labor camp to serve a 2-year term. During the detention, the guards tortured me with various cruel means, trying to force me to “transform” and write the three statements. Due to having suffered long-term persecution, and having many attachments along with a lack of Fa study, I compromised with the evil and wrote the three statements, promising to stop practicing Falun Dafa, against my will. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done that is not in accordance with the requirements of Dafa and Master is null and void. I will resume my cultivation and make up for the damage I caused to Dafa. I'll diligently do the three things well and go home with Master.”
