(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 26 provinces. In this report, 15 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Ms. Tian Lihua Arrested and Detained
Ms. Tian Lihua, in her 50s, is an employee of the Dongfeng County Archives Bureau. At noon of March 12, 2012, she was arrested by Han Hui, director of the Dongfeng County Police Department Domestic Security Division, while she clarified the facts about Falun Gong to people. The same afternoon, her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her personal items, including a laptop, two electronic books and a cell phone. Ms. Tian is currently held in Liaoyuan City.
2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Hongyan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Li Hongyan, from the Xincheng Village, Jincheng Town, Laizhou City, was arrested and taken to Dianzi Brainwashing Center around March 10, 2012.
3. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Liangsheng and His Wife Detained
Mr. Wang Liangsheng and his wife, Ms. Lai Zhongping, from Dongxing District, Neijiang City, were transferred from the Tuojiang Township Police Station to a detention center.
4. [Chongqing] Mr. Qin Zhangrong and Ms. Yang Meizhe Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Qin Zhangrong, in his 60s, from Xipeng Town, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center in Bailudazhuangyuan, Baishiyi Town, on October 21, 2011. Half of his body became paralyzed from the mistreatment in detention, and he could not take care of himself. Ten days later, authorities sent him back home. He still cannot take care of himself at the present time.
Another practitioner, Ms. Yang Meizhe, in her 70s, from Xipeng Town, Jiulongpo District, was also arrested and taken to a brainwashing center.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Yue Detained
Ms. Meng Yue from Shenhe District was recently detained at the First Detention Center.
6. [Qi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Jing Arrested
On March 10, 2012, over ten police officers from the Qi County Domestic Security Division and the Xiliuzhi Township Police Station in Qi County stormed into Ms. Guo Jing's home in Qicheng Village, Qi County and ransacked it. They confiscated a computer, a printer, a DVD burner, Falun Gong books, photo of Master Li Hongzhi, and other items. Ms. Guo was arrested.

7. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Yinsen Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
On July 27, 2010, Mr. Zhang Yinsen, from Siping City, was arrested and taken to the Dongshan Police School Brainwashing Center by officers from the Tiexi Police Department, the local 610 Office, and Tiexi Political and Judiciary Committee. At the beginning of 2012, without notifying his family members, authorities sentenced him to seven years in prison and detained him in Gongzhuling Prison.
8. [Huarong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Yan Congxi and Ms. Cai Guijiao Detained
Ms. Yan Congxi from Cangtai Village, Wanyu Town, Huarong County, and Ms. Cai Guijiao, from Qianlianghu No. 2 Field, Junshan District, Yueyang City, were arrested while they spoke to people about Falun Gong on February 27, 2012. The arrest was carried out by Chen Lianghua, director of the Huarong County Domestic Security Division, and Zhang Hao. The two practitioners were taken to the Ma'anxin District Police Station in Huarong County. The next day, they were transferred to the Huarong County Detention Center.

9. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Wenming and Ms. Chang Yuchun Arrested
On March 5, 2012, Fan Dongliang, from the Mudan District Domestic Security Division in Heze City, arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Guo Wenming and Ms. Chang Yuchun from Mudan District.
10. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Shuhua Arrested
On the afternoon of March 13, 2012, over ten police officers from the Qinglu Police Station, Chenghua District, Chengdu City, went to Sisters' Hair Salon on Huayou Road and arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Shuhua, who was working there. They confiscated a printer, a computer and cash worth 4,000 yuan.
11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chang Hefeng Arrested; Her Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Chang Hefeng was arrested by plainclothes police officers on the night of March 13, 2012. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
12. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiufeng Arrested
Ms. Liu Xiufeng was recently arrested and taken to Laishui County Hotel.
13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yu Ganghai's Current Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Yu Ganghai, from Wuhan City, was persecuted at Fangjiatai Prison in Shayang, Hubei Province, for nine years. When his prison term expired on March 11, 2012, he was secretly picked up by agents from the Wuhan City 610 Office. His current whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Liangzhen and Ms. Huang Ying Detained
Ms. Wang Liangzhen and Ms. Huang Ying, from Nanjing City, were arrested by officers from the Erbanqiao Police Station while they distributed materials about Falun Gong in Xiaguan District on the afternoon of March 6, 2012. The two practitioners are currently held at the Nanjing City Detention Center. Both of the practitioners' homes were ransacked.

15. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Hongyan Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Officers from the Laizhou City Police Department stormed into Ms. Li Hongyan's home in Jincheng Town and arrested her on March 8, 2012. They took her to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center.
16. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Lin Xiaoming Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Lin Xiaoming was sentenced to three years in prison and is currently held at the Siping Prison in Jilin Province.
17. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Bai Jida Detained
Mr. Bai Jida is currently held at the Songshan District Detention Center.
18. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Guogang Arrested and Detained
Mr. Yang Guoguang, from Gaotuo Village, Chahe Town, Fengrun District, was arrested by officers from the Tangshan City Police Department and the Chahe Town Police Station on the morning of February 25, 2012. Police confiscated two computers and two printers. Mr. Yang is currently held at a detention center.

19. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Dong Wenqin and Her Husband Arrested
Ms. Dong Wenqin and her husband, Mr. Han Kuilin (a non-practitioner), from Fatejiangyan Village, Shulan City, were arrested by officers from the Crime Police Division in Shulan City on March 13, 2012.
20. [Xianning City, Hulan Province] Mr. Xu Changxin Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Xu Changxin, from Jiyu County, Xianning City, was held at the Jiayu County Detention Center. On March 9, 2012, he was transferred to the Wuhan City Brainwashing Center.
21. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Shuhui Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Wang Shuhui, from Fangshan District, was arrested by officers from Zhongguancun while she distributed materials about Falun Gong at the Zhongguancun Building on January 1, 2012. She was detained at the Haidian Detention Center and subsequently sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor. She is currently imprisoned at the Beijing Women's Labor Camp.

22. [Shanghai] Ms. Ge Yijun's Whereabouts Unknown
When Ms. Ge Yijun was returning home from work on the night of March 13, 2012, she was asked to have a talk with some police officers from the Changshou Road Police Station, Putuo District, Shanghai. Up to now, she has not yet returned home, and her whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Suling Arrested
Agents from the Pingdu City 610 Office, Pingdu City Police Department and Landi Town Police Station, as well as over ten other people, stormed into Ms. Sun Suling's home in Wangjiazhuang Village, Landi Town, and arrested her on the afternoon of March 14, 2012.
24. [Jingyu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Daifu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zheng Daifu, from Sandaohu Town, Jingyu County, was arrested on March 3, 2012. She is currently held at the Jingyu County Detention Center.
25. [Tianjin ] Ms. Zhao Yufen Arrested and Detained
On the morning of March 13, 2012, Ms. Zhao Yufen, from Hongqiao District, Tianjin, was arrested while she clarified the facts about Falun Gong with fellow practitioners near Fuxing Road in Hongqiao District. Police ransacked her home the same afternoon, confiscating her personal belongs, including a computer, a printer and Falun Gong materials. She is currently held at the Hongqiao District Detention Center.

26. [Longyan City, Fujian Province] Mr. Hu Yuanjin and Mr. Wu Youjin Arrested
Mr. Hu Yuanjin and Mr. Wu Youjin, from Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, were arrested while speaking to people in a community about Falun Gong on March 12, 2012. Police extorted 1,000 yuan from Mr. Wu before releasing him due to high blood pressure. Mr. Hu is still detained.
27. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Chunyuan and Ms. Li Mingfang Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Li Chunyuan, from Changshou District, Chongqing, was arrested when she tried to clarify the facts about the persecution to Xiang Changsheng, secretary for the CCP in Duzhou Village, in January 2012. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor.
Ms. Li Mingfang was also reported by Xiang and arrested. She was also sentenced to two years of forced labor.
28. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Guangwei Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Zhou Guangwei, in his 60s, was arrested in Jianxing Town, Nanbu County, on March 12, 2012. He was taken to the Nanchong City Brainwashing Center.
