Additional Persecution News from China – March 27, 2012 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in ten cities or counties in six provinces. In this report, five practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least seven practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Neijiang, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about Arrest of Mr. Wang Liangsheng and His Wife Lai Zhongping

Mr. Wang Liangsheng and his wife Lan Zhongping from Neijiang were arrested while they were distributing Shen Yun DVDs in Tuojiang Township, Shizhong District on March 11, 2012. They are being detained in the detention center at the bottom of Sanyuan Town.

2. [Luzhou, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Dengfen Arrested

Ms. Luo Dengfen from Luzhou was arrested at the Qijia Bus Station in Longmatang District by two police officers on the morning of March 25, 2012. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Anshan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Ruiying Detained in the Anshan Third Detention Center

Ms. Chen Ruiying from Shengousi, Anshan was arrested around March 20, 2012. She is being detained in the Anshan Third Detention Center.

4. [Nanjing, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Dou Wenqiang Arrested

Mr. Dou Wenqiang, about 30 years old, lives in Zhujiang Town, Pukou District, Nanjing. He was arrested and his home ransacked in late February 2012.

5. [Gaocheng, Hebei Province] Ms. Jun Ping and Ms. Diao Zi Arrested

Ms. Jun Ping and Ms. Diao Zi were reported to police while they were talking to people about Falun Gong near Dongjiazhuang on the afternoon of March 25, 2012. They were taken to the Gaocheng Police Department by officers from the Xingan Town Police Station. They have been transferred to the Gaocheng Detention Center.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Chunxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Chunxiang from Taishitun Village, Tianshitun Town, Miyun County, Beijing, was reported to police while she was distributing Falun Gong materials on March 11, 2012. Many officers from the Miyun Domestic Security Division and the Taishitun Police Station took her away and ransacked her home.

7. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Luying Arrested

Ms. Jiang Luying, 84, from Nangang District, was a professor in the Department of Physics in Harbin Normal University. She was taken away from her home on March 23, 2012.

8. [Qingyuan County, Hebei Province] Additional Information about Ms. Wang Lanying's Arrest

Ms. Wang Lanying and her sister from Qingyuan were taken from Zhangdeng Village to the Zhangdeng Town Police Station on March 8, 2012. Ms. Wang's sister was released. Ms. Wang was sent to the Qingyuan Brainwashing Center. When her family went to the Zhangdeng Town Police Station on March 23, 2012, they were told that Ms. Wang had been sent to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

9. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Arrest of Ms. Liu Qiuhong

Ms. Liu Qiuhong lives in Xinnong Village, Simenzi Town, Fengcheng. She was taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term on March 20, 2012.

10. [Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province] Additional Information about Arrest of Mr. Zhu Shengli

Mr. Zhu Shengli from Xingang Town, Jiujiang, was taken away from his home on the morning of March 23, 2012. He is being detained in the Jiujiang Detention Center.
