Mr. Liang Weisheng Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Weisheng from the Shunyi District, Beijing was sentenced to five years in prison by the Shunyi District Court on December 20, 2011.

Mr. Liang, 65, lives in the Cangshang Residential Area in the Shunyi District. He was a teacher and later became the office head of the Shunyi Science and Technology Commission. He suffered from many illnesses, including stomach disease, neck vertebrae disease, and dermatitis. The dermatitis on his legs was the most troublesome. He received medical treatment for many years, but to no avail. His two legs were so itchy that it was hard to endure, he couldn't even fall asleep at night. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1998 and it brought him tremendous changes in his life. Several days after he started practicing Falun Gong, the dermatitis on his legs formed a hard skin. The dermatitis disappeared when the hard skin fell off soon after. His stomach and neck vertebrae diseases also disappeared. He became abstinent from the years of alcohol and cigarette addiction, which was unimaginable.

Retired Female Physician Secretly Sentenced to Five Years in Prison; Incarcerated in Guizhou Province No. 1 Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zou Jinying, 63, is a retired physician of the Guizhou Aluminum Plant Employee Hospital. On February 18, 2011, Ms. Zou was arrested by officers from the Dalu Town Police Station in Daozhen County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, for speaking with people about Falun Gong while visiting her hometown in Daozhen County. She was held at the Daozhen County Detention Center.
