(Minghui.org) Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province detains and persecutes male Falun Gong practitioners in ruthless and sinister ways. Although it is very difficult to get information about the persecution due to the prison’s strict blockade, it has been disclosed that several Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death there.
The Minghui.org website has exposed the crimes committed against Falun Gong practitioners several times. The prison still detains many practitioners who are suffering all kinds of unfair treatment and inhuman torture. The procedure for persecuting practitioners is listed below:
The first step is to strictly monitor the practitioners and have them undertake concentrated training at the newly arrived division. Practitioners are forced to run, stand in an army pose for long periods of time, walk like a duck, and squat down continuously. The prison indoctrinates the practitioners with CCP's theories, which is called “study”.
A new round of persecution begins after practitioners are sent to various divisions. The prison enslaves practitioners to make money. The prison advertises on the internet, saying that Deyang Prison has stable, low-cost labor. This has attracted some dishonest companies who are betraying their own conscience. Many of them even are well-known enterprises in China. The workload for the practitioners is very heavy and the conditions are very poor. The practitioners are made to work intensively. The products produced at the prison are dumped into the Chinese market. Many products are also sold to countries in Europe and North America, especially plush toys. The guards at the prison take all the profits and do not pay the prisoners. The prison also does not allow practitioners' family members to send in daily necessities. Instead, they are forced to buy expensive and low-quality supplies from the prison.
Falun Gong practitioners are tortured both physically and mentally. Every division has designated guards who are in charge of persecuting practitioners. The guards assign two prisoners with heavy prison terms to monitor each practitioner. They employ many brutal means to torture practitioners and force them to write the so-called Three Statements to give up their belief to Falun Gong. The means used include standing facing a wall, baking under the sun, freezing in winter, standing in an army pose, squatting, memorizing prison regulations, running in circles under the hot sun, being confined to a small room, beating, not being allowed to use bathroom, etc.
Those who were detained in Deyang Prison were all tortured, including Zhang Zhigang from Meishan (sentenced to four years in prison), Wu Fengquan from Xindu (sentenced to four years), Yu Kaixin, Li Changli (engineer of the Liaoyuan Factory in Chengdu, sentenced to seven years), Jiang Zonglin (former president of a construction design institute in Chengdu, sentenced to five years), Wei Caohai, Tang Xiewen, Yan Xiaoping, Liao Yuanfu and Shen Bing.
It is known that the Sixth Division detains most of the Falun Gong practitioners and the persecution there is most severe. Practitioner Cao was tortured to death in the Tenth Division. The warden there was Zhang Guang. Zhang Jian, a guard in the Seventh Division, ordered prisoners to torture an elderly practitioner. One winter, prisoners poured cold water onto a practitioner for a whole night and he passed away, having frozen to death . Another practitioner was trampled in water and drowned. Some practitioners were sent to the prison hospital only when they were in critical condition.
The above mentioned persecution is only a tiny portion of the crimes committed by the prison. Many crimes have not been disclosed due to the information blockade. On the day that the CCP falls, all persecution will be exposed. Under heavens laws, those prisoners and guards who are unwilling to repent will receive their retribution.
Practitioners who are still being detained in Deyang Prison include Wei Wei, Yang Shoumin, Zhang Zhiping, Yang Hejiang from Suining, Guo Tinghe from Daying, Zhao Qilin, Jiang Zonglin, Wu Fengquan, Zhang Zhigang, Wei Chaohai, Wei Bing, Li Changli, Deng Xiaoming, Liao Junfu, and Liang Guanqing.
Li Changli was confined to a small cell. Prisoners Wu Keming, Zhou Hanping, Zhang Qingcheng, and Zeng Dejian took turns verbally abusing and beating him, and they forced him into all kinds of humiliating poses. As a result of persecution, Li Changli is still lame and cannot straighten his back. Even under this situation, he was still forced to do labor for several months.
Tang Xiewen was forced to run under the hot sun for several hours. He was soaked in sweat and almost fainted. The guards forced him to hold one leg above the ground for a long period of time until his whole body was trembling and he was soaked in sweat. Mr. Tang's shoe was broken and he got blisters on the sole of his foot.
Liao Yuanfu has been detained for 10 years and confined to a small cell many times.
