(Clearwisdom.net) Directed by the Laizhou 610 Office, officials from the township governments, neighborhood committees and police stations in Laizhou City broke into several Falun Gong practitioners’ homes and took away Falun Gong books and many of their personal belongings since February 2012. Some practitioners were sent to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center and subjected to long-term detention.
Recently, a large number of so-called “open letters” were posted in various regions in Laizhou City. The letters urged people to report practitioners, enticing them with offers of large amounts of money. Seven to eight agents from the Laizhou 610 Office and five officers from the Sanshandao Border Police Station broke into Mr. Wu Jiajun’s home in Wujiazhuangzi Village, Xiyou Town around 6:00 p.m. on February 28, 2012. They arrested Mr. Wu and sent him to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center. In addition, they took eight printers, two computers, three cell phones, more than 30 copies of Falun Gong books and around 40 copies of truth-clarification discs.
Lu Guoxu, police chief of the northern area of Jincheng Town, Laizhou City led more than 10 officers to Wangjia Village and attempted to arrest Ms. Teng Chunxiang around 7:00 p.m. on March 7, 2012. They broke into her home by climbing over the wall from her neighbor’s corn crib. After searching her home and finding that she was not there, they climbed back out, causing the corn crib to collapse and scattering the corn everywhere. The neighbor whose yard they trepassed on angrily reprimanded the police. Ms. Teng had to leave home in order to avoid further persecution.
Laizhou City police broke into Ms. Li Hongyan’s home on March 8, 2012. They broke her gate lock, ransacked her house and threatened her family members. Ms. Li was subsequently sent to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center.
Since the Dianzi Brainwashing Center was set up, the authorities have detained many practitioners and persecuted them using various tortures. Moreover, they incite people to slander and defame Falun Gong through their wicked propaganda. They tempt people to persecute practitioners and obstruct people from knowing the truth about Falun Gong.
