Additional Persecution News from China – February 3, 2012 (11 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in ten cities or counties in nine provinces. In the report, eight Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Shuhong and Ms. Han Guohua Taken to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun

Mr. Yang Derong, Ms. Guo Shuhong and Ms. Han Guohua were illegally arrested on January 11, 2012. Mr. Yang managed to escape the same day. Ms. Guo and Ms. Han were taken to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun on January 21, 2012 for a term of one year. Ms. Guo is now being held in the 2^nd Group of the forced labor camp, and Ms. Han is in the 1^st Group.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Han Mei and Her Husband Mr. Niu Jiahui Arrested

Ms. Han Mei and her husband Mr. Niu Jiahui from Harbin City were arrested at home on the morning of December 31, 2011. Ms. Han has been tortured in the Harbin Detention Center, and as a result, she could no longer take care of her daily needs.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Updates about the 17 Practitioners Arrested in Daowai District

The majority of the 17 practitioners, arrested by officers from the Harbin City Police Department and various police stations on December 31, 2011, were held in the Harbin Detention Center. Mr. Liu Yanbo was transferred to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp in Harbin in the middle of January 2012 for a term of 18 months.

Five female practitioners were taken to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp in Harbin on January 19, 2012. Mr. Wu Yi, Mr. Gong Wenyi and Mr. Dong were taken to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Gong Wenyi was not admitted since he was on a hunger strike protesting the persecution and was very weak by then. He was brought back to the Harbin Detention Center.

4. [Haicheng City, Liaoning] Ms. Liu Ni, Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Meng Qingfen Arrested

Ms. Liu Ni, Ms. Wang Jing and Ms. Meng Qingfen from Haicheng City were arrested for writing facts about Falun Gong on utility poles in Dakan Village on January 31, 2012. They are now being held in the Anshan 1^st Detention Center.

5. [Dongning County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xiaomiao Arrested Again

When families of seven arrested practitioners from Dongning County went to the police department to demand the release of their family members on February 2, 2012, Zhao Zhandong, deputy director of the Dongning Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Xiaomiao on the spot.

6. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhou Aiyun Taken to Zhengzhou 2^nd Detention Center

Ms. Zhou Aiyun from Shangjie District, Zhengzhou City was reported by plainclothes officers for explaining facts about Falun Gong at Bei Farmer's Market on January 5, 2012. She was then taken to the Xinanlu Police Station of Shangjie. Ms. Zhou is now being held in the Zhengzhou 2^nd Detention Center.

7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Mu Mengguang and Ms. Gui Min Taken to Julu Detention Center

Mr. Mu Mengguang and Ms. Gui Min from Niuxinzhai, Ren County, Xingtai City were reported for talking about Falun Gong in Jinghuzhai Village on the afternoon of February 1, 2012. They were then taken to the Julu Detention Center by officers from the Xiguocheng Police Station.

8. [Wenxi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhai Yuexian, 70 Years Old, Held in Detention Center for Ten Months

Ms. Zhai Yuexian from Wenxi County, 70 years old, was arrested by Wang Longyan, Yang Mingbo and other officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Wenxi Police Department on April 13, 2011. She has been held in the Wenxi Detention Center for almost ten months.

9. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Shi Zhiyong Held in Jiuwei Detention Center in Baoan District

Mr. Shi Zhiyong from Henan Oil Field Inc. was arrested by officers from the Zhennan Police Station for posting facts about Falun Gong in Baoan District, Shenzhen City on November 7, 2011. He is now being held in the Jiuwei Detention Center in Baoan District.

10. [Qingyang, Gansu Province] Ms. Shi Xiqin Arrested

Ms. Shi Xiqin from Qingyang City was arrested by officers from the Xiaojin Town Police Station of Xifeng District before the Chinese New Year. The key to her home that she carried with her was confiscated.

11. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tao Xiai to Be Held for 15 Days

Ms. Tao Xiai from Macheng City was arrested by officers from the Qiting Police Station on the afternoon of February 1, 2012 and taken to the Macheng 2^nd Detention Center the same day. Her family was informed that Ms. Tao would be held for 15 days.
