(Clearwisdom.net) I was diagnosed with malignant ascites in July, 2011, and I underwent chemotherapy twice, which resulted in my weight dropping from 176 to 99 pounds. I felt very sad and hopeless.
During this dark stage of my life, my husband recommended that I practice Falun Gong, and brought me the book Zhuan Falun. I was excited when I experienced many physical changes after beginning the practice. My face turned rosy, and I felt more at ease walking by myself. When I went to the hospital for an examination, my physician was very surprised that the malignant ascites had disappeared.
I understand that it was Master that helped me purify my body. I am truly grateful to our compassionate Master for saving my life.

I have a friend who had hepatitis when she was young. We met each other when we were both in the hospital. Two years ago, I ran into her again, and she noticed that my face had turned rosy and I looked like a different person. However, she still had all kinds of diseases, so she asked me if she could learn Falun Gong.
She could not read any of the characters in the book, but she was very determined. Her husband read Zhuan Falun to her every day, and sometimes one of her friends also came to teach her. Within a few months, she got up at midnight to read Zhuan Falun, and she felt as if someone was reading the book to her. Within six months, she was able to join the Fa-study group to read Zhuan Falun with the other practitioners. Moreover, the two persons who used to read Zhuan Falun to her, her husband and friend, both got some benefits. Her husband quit smoking and drinking.
Her friend used to smoke two packs of cigarettes per day and cough all the time. He had tried to quit smoking many times, but had always failed. Now every time he smells cigarette smoke, he feels very uncomfortable. When his son heard that after reading Zhuan Falun his father had quit smoking, he was very happy and came to thank her. “Auntie, thank you so much! My father has quit smoking and we all feel so relaxed. Thank Falun Gong's book, a book that can save people.”
Terminal Illness Cured after Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good”
There was a vendor in our neighborhood who used to reproduce keys. He got cancer and felt tightness in his chest and his face swelled. He could not work for six months due to his illness. I often gave him truth-clarification booklets, and he always said, “Falun Dafa is good” whenever he met me. He said, “I really love reading those Falun Gong brochures, and I believe that Falun Gong practitioners are all very good people. I hope that Falun Gong can save my life. I recite 'Falun Dafa is good' every day.” His illness has since disappeared without costing him any money. He was rewarded for reciting, “Falun Dafa is good.”
I said, “Why don't you tell other people about your experience, so they can also be rewarded for believing that Falun Dafa is good?” He replied, “All my friends and families members already know it!”
