(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Ding Pingji, 63, is a former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) member. He lives in a village east of Chongqing City and had pictures of six communist figures up on his wall. He used to be a stubborn and proud man who believed the CCP's lies about Falun Dafa. Three years ago, he fell into a pool and was rescued. He was taken to a hospital and had a physical exam, where the doctor diagnosed him with liver cirrhosis and hepatitis. The doctors recommended that he get surgery. He spent 140,000 yuan to remove half of his liver. At that time, the doctor told his son: “It is great that we found your father's illness, so he can live for another three years. Otherwise, he would have passed away this year.” After returning home, Mr. Ding wasn't able to do anything strenuous and had to take medicine every day that cost more than 20 yuan a day. At that time, a Falun Dafa practitioner advised him to withdraw from the CCP and its associated organizations, and he agreed to do it.
Early this year, he became very ill again. It has been three years since his surgery. There was an abnormal growth on his chest that had to be removed. However, surgery didn't help improve his condition. Everyday, he vomited blood, was in pain, and couldn't sleep or eat. Each day, he had to take medicine that cost over 1,500 yuan. The doctors told him to go home, as there was nothing more they could do to help him. He then went to Mr. Chen and bought a lot in the cemetery for 5,000 yuan. He spent another 20,000 yuan to build a tombstone for himself.
When Mr. Ding was on his deathbed, Mr. Chen, who also practices Falun Dafa, visited him and asked, “Do you want to live?” He replied, “Of course I do, but when it is time to die, what can I do?” When Mr. Chen asked him again, he said with surprise, “Are you saying that you have a way to save me?” Mr. Chen said, “Yes. You just have to recite 'Falun Dafa is good!' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!'”
Mr. Ding was confused and asked, “This is so simple. Can it really save me?” Mr. Chen replied, “It is not really simple. You have to be sincere and you must withdraw from the CCP. Only gods can save a man who is about to die. My Teacher, Master Li Hongzhi, can save you. The CCP is an atheist party that opposes the will of gods and persecutes Falun Dafa. Hence, you cannot be saved without withdrawing from the CCP.” Mr. Ding replied, “I have already quit the CCP. I didn't understand the reason at that time. Do I have to do it again?” Mr. Chen said, “No, but you have to tear down these pictures you have on the wall.” Mr. Ding replied, “I can't do that. I need those pictures to fend off evil spirits.” Mr. Chen said, “These pictures are the evil spirits.”
When Mr. Ding's wife heard that, she immediately stood up on a chair and tore down the pictures. Then, she threw them in the trash. Mr. Ding then began to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good!” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Soon thereafter, a miracle occurred—he stopped vomiting blood and was able to sleep that night. He continued to sincerely recite the same words every day. In less than two months, he was back to normal.
