(Minghui.org) Prior to learning Falun Dafa, I had several health problems, including arthritis, migraines, and insomnia. One day I experienced excruciating abdominal pain and the doctors told me that I had a malignant fibroid tumor in my uterus. Upon hearing this, my husband was so upset and worried that he cried.
Then my stepdaughter came to visit us, and my husband told her about my diagnosis. She said, “Not to worry. Come practice Falun Dafa with me tomorrow. This practice has extraordinary health benefits. Whoever practices, benefits from it.” She also told us, “Mr. Li [Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong] taught us to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant.” As soon as I heard that, I felt good. I wanted to live by those principles, too. To be a good stepmother, I must follow these principles.
I soon became a Falun Dafa practitioner. I thought about others first in everything I did and earned the respect and praise of my stepchildren. I was completely cured of my health problems. Dafa is miraculous. I have not had any medications in the past 15-some years. I am now in my 70s and I run up the stairs faster than young people. I am a living example of Dafa's miracles. Dafa has brought my family happiness, and good fortune to my daughter as well.
Before my daughter got married, she was found to have a fibroid in her uterus. After she got married, they found two more, and doctors told her that she would not be able to have children. She had many different medications, but they didn't help. The doctors said that she needed to undergo surgery or she would die.
At this critical moment, I thought about the fact that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and Teacher arranged everything for me. After the surgery, the doctor said that it was unlikely that she would get pregnant. When I got home, I talked to my daughter and son-in-law about Falun Dafa and how extraordinary it was. I asked them to repeat in their heart “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” is good. They promised to do this.
Within six months, a miracle occurred. My daughter became pregnant! My granddaughter is now in Grade 3. She is lovely and very smart and does very well in school. Falun Dafa has brought our family happiness and joy. This is an example of how when one person practices Falun Dafa, the whole family benefits.
