(Minghui.org) I was quite shocked recently when a fellow practitioner was arrested. After reading information about this practitioner, especially what he did while confronting the evil forces, I started the process of rescuing him while reflecting on this event. Why was he interfered with for such a long time? Based on my face-to-face sharing experience with him, I came to realize one point.

Police officers, supervisors, and government officials usually follow instructions from the central government to contact Dafa practitioners and deal with them harshly. However, as they follow the evil instructions, they are just human beings. Their thoughts, intent, and actions are unsteady and inconsistent. Compared with a practitioner's diamond-like will, they are like smoke in the air that can be dismissed by just a wave of the hand. How could smoke hold back a diamond?

Teacher told us more than once,

“Of course, cultivators have no enemies, and nobody is worthy of being Dafa's enemy.” (from “Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World”)

We shouldn't regard human beings as our enemies, as they are who we want to save. When we are undergoing interrogation, if we uphold justice and show our strong resolve, it will be like scene in a movie where a war hero refuses to give despite severe torture. This has the effect of making ordinary people who persecute practitioners feel that we are their opponents, so they will use all possible means to interfere with and restrain us. If we are truly compassionate and focus on saving them, the intangible boundary will then be blurred. As a result, they may not sense a confrontation, and our words, expressions, and mind intent will then dissolve their hostility into smoke. Their will to confront us will disappear and they will no longer want to fight with us.

Teacher taught us to explain the truth about Falun Gong with rationality and wisdom. What is wisdom? We should make our words acceptable and understandable to the persecutors, rather than trying to express our beliefs—like taking an oath or dying a martyr.

Whenever we meet those whom the authorities have appointed to contact us, we absolutely shouldn’t push them to the opposite side—even if we can't successfully persuade them, since this will leave open the opportunity to explain the truth again in the future.

Many practitioners have been detained in forced labor camps or prisons. Incarceration is very tedious: I personally experienced it. After my release from the labor camp, I was determined not to be imprisoned again and spend my precious life in prison. Distributing even one piece of truth clarification media and saving only one person is much more worthwhile than spending two years in a labor camp. Therefore, when we confront anyone that has been directed to inspect us, we should be very careful, calm, rational, and wise in speaking to them. This way, they'll feel that we shouldn't be monitored or restrained.

Of course, I don't mean that this fellow practitioner actually had such a problem. I just came to realize the above from his arrest. I wanted to share more, but didn't want this to be too lengthy or move away from the point. I am not sure if my understanding aligns with the Fa. Please point out anything inappropriate with compassion, if you find that this sharing contains any human attachment.
