(Clearwisdom.net) I am thirteen years old, and live in a mountainous village in Youyan County, Anshan City. My parents were separated when I was young, and I was brought up by my grandparents.

I suffered from a bad illness not too long ago and felt something heavy on my chest. I then found a lump there, and it grew bigger and bigger. I could only eat a very small meal every day and would vomit if I ate more. As time went on, I began to have difficulty urinating, my body got thinner and thinner, and I stopped going to school. Dad took me to a big hospital in Shenyang City to be examined.

Afterward the doctor said to my father, “He has a malignant coronary artillery tumor with a 20 cm. diameter. We are unable to do anything, except for …” “Except for what?” My father could not wait for the answer. “Except for a slim chance that he might be saved by an operation. But the success rate is very low. You think about it and let me know after you decide.” I was scared and cried. After a discussion among my whole family, we decided not to go through the operation since the likelihood of success was too small. Besides, our financial situation was rather poor, and the operation would cost over 100,000 yuan or US$16,000.

After going home, my father took me to a few other hospitals. The doctors all said that it was hopeless. We then found an herb doctor and he prescribed some herbal medicine for me. I tried it for two months but it wasn’t doing anything. My grandmother wept quietly every day. Hearing that unconventional methods could help, she searched for all sorts of unconventional ways and made me try them. But the more I tried, the sicker I got. At the hospital, the doctor told my father, “He has at most a month and a half to live. Feed him whatever he wants to eat.” After going home, everyone stared at me helplessly.

At this time, a Falun Gong practitioner found me, and told me the wonders of Dafa and the facts of the persecution of the practice. He asked me to recite “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Strangely, I was able to eat an entire bowl of rice that night and not feel nauseated. In a few days, my facial tone turned good and my body felt agile. At that point, I became a Falun Dafa practitioner.

In the beginning I only read Dafa books. After about 20 days, a fellow practitioner invited me to his home and taught me the exercises. Around midnight that night, I suddenly felt nauseated and vomited, and threw up two to three large bowls of a milk-like substance. I felt that a window opened in my heart and I was very relaxed.

I was delighted, and I thanked Teacher and Dafa. It was Teacher who gave me a second life. A month later, I went to the hospital to see the same doctor who had examined me before. After he examined me, he stared at me and said, “Where did you get your treatment? What medication did they give you? How could you be healed so well? Everything is normal now. You are completely healed.” My father said, “He was not treated at all. He simply practiced Falun Gong at home.” The doctor said to himself: “It is truly incredible.”

I am now going back to school again. I follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my actions. People around me all say that I have changed. My records also have gone from near the bottom of the class to among the top few.

Now, aside from my school work, all I do is study Dafa and cultivate my xinxing. At home, I do my best to help my grandfather and grandmother with chores around the house, so that I can be a qualified Dafa disciple.

I would like to tell all practitioners of my age or younger a wonderful thing. When I first did the Falun Standing Stance, I felt my arms were very heavy and tired. Then I thought of that Teacher said, “Suffering eliminates karma.” (Zhuan Falun) After thinking that I wanted to persist a little longer, I immediately felt that my arms were no longer tired. It is miraculous. I truly hope that all young practitioners will concentrate on the Fa and they will be able to endure all the pain and tiredness. One must persist.

Thank you Teacher. Thank you fellow practitioners.
