Young Disciple Yelled, “Falun Dafa Is Good” in Class
(Received from China) Xiao Pang began high school this year. During his political science class, his teacher read slanderous material about Falun Gong from the textbook. Xiao Pang immediately shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” The teacher was at a complete loss as to what to do. His classmates looked at each other in dismay. They stared at him, but he remained composed. Not only did the teacher not punish him, but he seemed to be more fond of Xiao Pang afterwards. The teacher chose him to be the delegate from political science class, and his classmates admired him. Sometimes when they were on break, he taught his classmates to sing a song, “Falun Dafa Is Good.”
Xiao Pang's maternal grandmother is a practitioner. Her health was restored after she began practicing Falun Gong. Although she is 70 years old, she appears to be 50. His grandmother told him the truth about Falun Gong when he was little, and that Falun Dafa is good. So whenever he came across Falun Gong truth clarification fliers or pamphlets strewn on the ground, he picked them up, folded them neatly, cleaned them off, and put them in the baskets of bicycles that were parked by the side of the road. Sometimes his grandmother gave him paper currency with truth clarifying words written on it when he went to the store. He purposely handed over the money with the words facing up and would say to the shopkeeper, “Take a look! There are good things written on these bills.”
One day when Xiao Pang was in elementary school he ran home happily and said to his grandmother, “I had a math test today. I came to a question that I couldn't answer. I recited, 'Falun Dafa is good' three times. Then the answer suddenly came to me. I got a 100!”
My Grades Quickly Improved after Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good”
(Received from Heilongjiang Province) My name is Haishan. I am from Tahe County, Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province. I am ten years old and in the fourth grade. I have been either the worst or the next to worst student in my grade ever since I began school. I didn't follow the class rules, I fought, and my clothes were always dirty. My parents were very worried about me.
I found school to be really dull and boring and quite a burden. I was particularly poor at math. I didn't understand the teacher's lectures. My family was very distressed over my studies.
My family didn't hesitate to spend money on my education. Since I was in my first year of school, my parents sent me to tutoring classes. Every day after school I went to the tutor's home and did my homework. I had tutoring lessons in English, language and literature, and mathematics on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during the winter and summer vacations. I stayed late every day. I couldn't even take a break during the holidays or festivals. I was tired every day, but my grades were still among the worst in my class. I admired my friends who could do their homework by themselves and had time to play.
My paternal grandparents knew a female Falun Gong practitioner. She told my paternal grandparents, my mother, and me the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, and the four of us withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. I was very interested when she talked about the health benefits of Falun Gong, and that it could improve a child's intelligence. I went to her home. She taught me to recite, “Falun Gong is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She told me to recite, “Falun Gong is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and to ask for Master's help whenever I had a problem.
On several occasions, I recited, “Falun Gong is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” when my head and stomach hurt, and the pain stopped immediately. I often went to this practitioner's home, and she gave me a Shen Yun DVD. I had a strong reaction when she showed me Mr. Li Hongzhi's picture and the picture of the Law Wheel symbol in Zhuan Falun. I told her I wanted to practice.
She frequently gave me Falun Gong books and recordings of Mr. Li Hongzhi's lectures. I gradually changed. I no longer fought or talked in school, or intentionally made my clothes dirty.
Last semester there were several questions that I couldn't answer on the midterm and final exams. I thought of what the practitioner had said and sincerely repeated, “Falun Dafa is good.” I repeated it for a while and then all of a sudden I remembered how to solve the problems. I was really surprised, and my parents and teachers were very happy when I got back my exams. I had never gotten such good grades since I began school. I got over 80 in all my subjects. I received a 90 in English, whereas before my scores were in the 20s or 30s. My classroom teacher even called my parents to congratulate them. I had gone from being a poor student to being in the middle of my class. I had changed a lot. I was polite, paid attention to hygiene, and helped others.
My grandmother couldn't believe it, and went to speak with my teacher. The teacher confirmed that I had really changed and could complete my homework on my own, and that I had answered the questions on the exam by myself. I was following the classroom regulations, and I had improved in my learning and many other aspects.
My grandmother took me to the practitioner's home. She told my grandmother, “I often gave Haishan Falun Dafa books to read. He often recited, 'Falun Dafa is good.' He benefitted from Falun Dafa.” My family and I are all grateful to Mr. Li Hongzhi and Falun Dafa.
